So after watching many episodes of the tv show Taskmaster, i decided to try and make my friends do it, but in Minecraft! Doing a selection of different tasks to see who can do them the best, or the fastest! If you enjoyed this kind of video please let me know and I'll be more likely to do more!

With how Scott is with some of these challenges I'm suprised no one decided to use reverse psychology and use the wheat

The fun things about these one-off videos where Scott tortures his friends, is that going 1-on-1 for every clip it allows us to see the different types of friendships/dynamics he has with each of them. I love the frequent cuts between competitors to see how each is handling similar situations.
What I love abt Scott’s escape rooms is how he really tests his friends 💀

as a huge taskmaster nerd this video made my day. the tasks felt very much like the show and scott played a perfect, if less pathetic, little alex horne. it would be so fun to see a full series of taskmaster mc.

I thought about how these particular tasks would be introduced by Little Alex Horne on the show:
“We start with a task involving some tricky cow-culations…”
“And this task is absolute flaming madness!”
“Ok, one more task and this one is like my front two teeth, because it contains a massive gap.”
Sorry if that last one is a bit rude. I can only imagine the chaos if the group has reacted to each other’s attempts at the task like the studio segments, there could have been all sorts of disqualification arguments! By the way, have you got a favourite series of Taskmaster?
How I would solve each challenge with the best possible method. Spoilers, obviously.
1: Let the cow out. Then, break the ending pen, and rebuild it around the cow. The cow is now in a new pen.
2: Break the candles and move them two blocks back, increasing the max possible distance. Then use Owen's method.
3: Break the ladder that let's you climb back up, then use it to climb up to the finish. This might count as the same as Lizzie's though, I'm not sure.
If you used a boat to cross the water instead of swimming it would be different from lizzie's method.
the third would count as Lizzie since the challenge is getting across the gap not above. but honestly I would have just made a boat and went across that way.
I thought the same for the cow one! :)
This is what I thought of before I saw them: For the cow, a land boat. For the water one, I would tunnel underneath.

The fact that Owen spent twice as long as everyone else
Katherine's simple ways really let her do quite well in two of them it's very funny to me
She wasn’t fastest in the first round, though, as Lizzie beat her in shorter than her time
I am already tell this is going to be hilarious and chaotic

You know, if they didn’t read “your time starts now” they could’ve done the challenges in zero seconds lol
Or if they did the task without reading it, they would've done it in zero seconds
I'd love to see a sequel to this, but with a twist: there's one person who only gets points for that round if their method is the same as someone else's, and they get to know who else is playing
Seeing a mix of Scott and Taskmaster is very fun to watch, however he could have had the chance to flex his pettiness by telling them “all the information you need is in the task” when they kept asking him stuff.
Poor Katherine bless her she is so sweet I love her videos and builds and her not remembering how to “make a flame arrow” aka flame enchantment on a bow just had me in stitches laughing. I love it when she is part of these challenges like the escape rooms, etc.
The fact that Katherine gave up on task 2 but still came 3rd is hilarious

I’d be the person to risk doing the simplest one because I know that everyone else will (hopefully) not do a simple one cause their afraid that someone else would do it
I love Taskmaster, and seeing it implemented into Minecraft looks really fun. I think you should do this again, but maybe with different people, or you could have the same people on and do sort of like a full series of Minecraft Taskmaster and maybe include some team tasks as well.

im thoroughly enjoying that none of them thought to pile up to the far back corner and Then hit the redstone to light the candle on the opposite side; hypotenuse would be longer than the leg of the triangle and all that jazz
This is a great idea! If you ever do this again it would be awesome if, like in Taskmaster, you have them all come together to watch the results with you, though I'm sure scheduling is likely an issue. Would also be funny to have them all do a final challenge.
