    The best Camera that I have had was the Hasseblad 2000 FC, which I had factory customized. The best Lenses that I have used for Hasselblad Cameras are the Zeiss Distagon 50mm 2.8, Zeisss Planar 110mm 2.0, Zeiss Macro Planar 120mm 4.0, Zeiss Tele-Tessar 240mm 4.0, Zeiss Tele-Tessar 350mm 4.0 and Zeiss 2x Mutar.

    I love the Pentax 645 It is so underrated just like your channel. More people should be watching your content!

    Love the fact that you only keep what you use. A lot of my gear doesn't get used nearly enough to justify keeping it. Maybe I'll purge a few cameras in the near future haha. You should definitely use that Pentax 645 more, but I can see why it sits when you've got the Hasselblad! Great setup and loved the tour of your cameras!

    Thank you Marina. I had the Pentax Mz6 for some time and have now sold it. It is a wonderful beginners camera.I had the Pentax 645 for many years and sold it a couple of years ago. A wonderful camera as are the lenses.I never owned a Hasseblad but used it once on a work assignment. It was a great experience and the pictures were great.Polaroid cameras are expensive to use but have an attraction for some.I think I have sold my 2 similar to yours but I have an older one or 2 somewhere in storage that need some fixing.I am glad you are a minimalist. I am not. I probably need some therapy.

    Hi, just found your channel and your self-portrait stuff is very inspiring. Funny that I have exactly the same lenses on my Fujica AZ-1 SLR. I also have Jupiter 11A which is great also. Thanks for the content :)

    Hi Marina! Loving your camera collection! That Pentax 645 looks really good and I was actually going to get one as my first medium format camera, but decided to go with a Bronica ETRS. You should definitely use it more often!

    • @AnalogueDiaries
      @AnalogueDiaries  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Nuno, thanks for watching! When I was choosing my first MF camera I did look up into Bronica ETRS, I think I went with Pentax, because of built in light meter. At that point I didn’t have a hand held one, so wanted a camera with a light meter. It’s very accurate on Pentax 645, until more challenging lower light scenarios.

    Hi Marina, nice collection! I don't find the limitation of interchangeable backs a problem on my Pentax 645, I prefer the 55mm W/A to the 75mm lens though. Have you ever thought of going bigger? 4x5 in. - you will love using large format! Cheers

    • @AnalogueDiaries
      @AnalogueDiaries  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Anthony, thanks for watching! Yeah, I don’t find it limiting the lack of interchangeable backs either, but it could be the case for some.
      Wide 55mm sounds great, I like wide angle lenses a lot. Unfortunately, they come at their cost, and often times weight 🙈
      As far as 4x5 format, let’s say I’m doing my research now, so hopefully soon 😏

    Try to check few rangefinders too. They are fun (expensive too if made from Leica..).

      @@AnalogueDiaries Check out the Chamonix 45F2, that is what I shoot with in 4x5, best 4x5 cams out there for the price. I have seen the intrepid cams, decent but nowhere near as nice or well built as a Chamonix. 👍🏼👍🏼

    Agree with Pentax 645. It is very underrated. I have the Pentax 645n which is even better with better viewfinder and layout. Agree that plastic auto SLRs are great options

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who tried to photograph a concert with a medium format. I took my trusty Yashica-Mat into the heart of darkest Hollywood and came away with no useful photos so you are doing better than me.

    We all naturally go through phases with our cameras. The time for the 645 will call out to you. Don't get rid of it. I have a mamiya 645 and a blad and I use them completely differently for different things. They each hold their own for what they do. I also have a leica and a 6x9, etc. and they have their places too. The only thing over 3 decades of shooting is that I have zero overlap in my cameras, and I think that's right for a bunch of tools.

    • @AnalogueDiaries
      @AnalogueDiaries  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, it’s nice to have different cameras to use for different things. I still get gear, test it, see how I like it and decide whether to keep it or get rid of it. It’s nice to experience different cameras or lenses and see the images they produce.

      @@AnalogueDiaries It's extremely nice to just settle down with a kit and realize after many years that you need nothing else or want nothing else because what you have covers it for the rest of your life. Kind of like life partners. You should try a holga though. I've gone through 6, heavily modified- they all broke, but gave great memories. I just carry my 35RC for those quick shots, or a 6x6 folder like the mamiya 6.

    Is the pentax 6x7 focusing screen really that dark? I have the Pentax 67 and find its focusing screen as bright as the 500cm acute matte D and way easier to focus. Love your videos!
