EDIT: @ 9:10 one of the notes in the chart is a b3 but should be a Maj3 (so it's should be 1 fret up). Sorry about that!

Jeff, this is FANTASTIC! I played along and filled a page with ideas and fretboard patterns, thanks to you. I seriously don't understand why you don't have a ginormous number of subscribers: you're truly one of the best, most accessible, and most positive teachers out there. I'll do what I can to spread the word!
Thanks again,
Boomer
Hey thanks so much Boomer! Just doin' what I can. Glad it's been helpful. I'm planning on lots more videos like this about chord tones.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar that’s great! Really look forward to those.
This rules man. I’ve been playing Sugaree a little while and I just keep adding more and more. Plus been working on triads a lot lately. Think I found this at the perfect time. Or it found me 🙏
Great lesson, thank you!
Glad it helped!
First video of yours that I have ever watched. Awesome, thank you. BTW Sugaree one of my favourites! Subscribed
Thanks for that lesson. Some great points about focusing in rather than skimming the surface. Nice breakdown on the 1, 3 and 5. Tension and resolve. Awesome 👍
We need a Jeff Williams Church
Jeff, you are just too great duuude! I learn so much from you man! Thank you so much!
perfect. i'm kinda noob to soloing and tend to noodle with the scales too much. i like to be versatile......went from learning a black sabbath song yesterday to the dead today.....
Awesomeness dude. I think it helps to address all of the concepts in a tune
Thanks
Another great one brother. Love what you’re getting at. I’ve really been trying to trim the “fat” off the major scale lately, and these concepts and various outlooks have really been inspiring. Can’t wait for the next one!
Glad it was helpful! I haven't made a lot of videos like this but I could make lots more.
