Its nice to see the unedited versions of these models up close and you realise even the best leave brush strokes on the minis and theyre not flawlessly blended everywhere like on the display pictures- shows we're all human however the talent is next level to produce paint jobs like these and shows the time and dedication required
That Mega Gargant fighting that Hydra is mindblowing
With the quality somehow getting better year after year it goes to show how many amazing painters there are out there..
One day I’ll be good enough to participate… Until then, I’m going to watch on in awe!
Just keep practicing 💪
This is interesting to learn about. I only just got back into the hobby with the Leviathan and Cities of Sigmar boxes (CoS are beautiful models. Please commend the people who will make my painting hell with all the details), and painting is certainly my favorite part of the hobby. Hopefully I'll have enough practice (and paint) to make it to next year.
Really appreciate seeing close-up shots of these lovely mini's.
I will go to the grave and be able to say my proudest moment (besides having my son), is winning my Golden Demon awards. Each one conjures up a lot of great memories when I look at them. I don't even remember the work put into the models, just the feeling of winning, the friends I made, and the fun time thinking of what to enter.
Thanks for doing this. Great info!
Thanks for permitting comments and for the intimate close-ups!! ❤
GD deserves the attention this video gave it. Well done!
The standard always amazes me
10:00 there must be someone that transport their mini in plastic bag for golden demon, isn't it?
I would be that person 😂
I think most people just keep them safely in there back pockets, unless they have a large diorama, then yes! A tesco carrier bag, is the go to, way of transferring their entries to the competition.
Would be nice to have Adepticon here in Australia since i can't travel overseas due to time constraints
Can't believe they put comments on for this video hahaha
How was "two thin coats" not one of the top tips?
Cause it's more like 20 ultra thin coats 😂
It's a great rule for beginners but when you're more experienced you do what's right in the moment. Sometimes you need a lot more than 2
How you don't think you are invoking the spirit of cherubael with these is beyond me😅.
One day I will get Warhammer 40k miniatures
