I can’t tell you what a wonderful inspiration you both are for me to see your progress and to see your beautiful smile. All I can say is thank goodness for stitching, which I call my therapy. It comes to my treatment days with me. I just love watching you both.

Ladies what a wonderful floss tube! I will be sure to keep the "secret" (said in a whisper so no one else can hear) just between us! LOL. You both make me want to go back in time to not have any lulls in my stitching time. My great aunt started me on stamped cross stitch when I was a very young girl. Not so young anymore and stopped stitching for many decades, But now that I have a supportive husband (shhh he doesn't know he's being supportive! :) ) and having you two ladies enabling me...yeah I spend any free time I can get stitching. BTW....I was the one who asked about the piece in the red frame...I just got notification from FQS that it's on it's way!!! You made me do it!!! And I have a list that I keep adding more 'need this chart'. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Hopefully I can get it done by Veteran's Day.

I signed up for the Silver Needle retreat, but had to cancel 2-3 days later for unplanned surgery. Ughhhhh. I know you guys had a great time. Going to the Attic next summer is on my bucket list!! Brenda you look fabulous and Laura I love your energy and sweet smile! Have a great two weeks ladies!

Going to my LNS and see if the lady who makes bags for the shop will make me a couple. July is my Christmas ornament project month. I make them for my four grandchildren and at least three for our tree.

Which leads me to my own scandal...back several months ago when I started watching you two, I didn’t own a pair of dovos, but now thank me to you two, I have 11 or 12?! I love you two. I have watched you from your first floss tube. Many rabbit holes have I found!! I am doing the BBD, just can't figure out posting. I heard the Bells on Christmas Day needle book is in progress. Have fabric for the sampler in that book. Looking at What Remains is Love. Finished one the first weekend, for my daughter, guess which one. Anyway. Brenda you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is thrilling to see how well you are progressing. I am glad your spirit is well and very well.
It’s always a treat to stitch and listen/watch you two! I envy your friendship and love of stitching that you share. I’m thankful for my local Stitching Group so I get a little of that once a month. Loved your video this week. I always feel like I am visiting with friends and sad when it ends. Brenda you look radiant. Keeping you in my prayers for continued healing. I am just finishing my radiation and then will start 3 more chemo sessions. My hair has just started to grow back but, I will probably lose it again. I have been rocking the bald look because the head coverings are so hot here in Florida. All about embracing our recovery plan. Stay well ladies and happy stitching!!

I couldn't agree with you more about the Dovo scissors! They are such amazing scissors and I also mourn the fact they aren't being made any longer. I don't have any of the sets, but do have about 10 pair of their 3½" and 4" embroidery scissors.
I have been wanting a good pair of embroidery scissors and had been looking at Sajou, but I immediately went on the search for a pair of Dovo. At first I thought you said Dobo! LOL! I found a pair and bought them. Thanks for the tip!

Love the projects. Love seeing someone who is as squirrel plagued as I have been! I used to be a silk snob but I have rediscovered the joys of cotton: both regular & the even wilder assortments available today of the overdyed. I have actually come to dislike AVAS. I know: shock & horror, but, yeah. I don't know why. The problem is that I have at least a couple dozen or more old samplers that are (dormant but) in progress with it. Have y'all worked projects with a mix of silks like AVAS, NPI, SnC, Belle Soie, etc together on 1 piece? Are the differences between them noticeable? Particularly the differences between the twist of NPI and AVAS? Or AVAS, in general, how well does it "play" with the others on our playgrounds? I am thinking of changing out the AVAS in my older projects without having to restart them. I know, I could just finish them...but that f word...*shudder*...that involves another f word: focus. Both are scary.

Going to my LNS and see if the lady who makes bags for the shop will make me a couple. July is my Christmas ornament project month. I make them for my four grandchildren and at least three for our tree.

I could not stop laughing at your scissor scandal!! It’s exactly something I would do, and there’s no way I would be left out and not have my own pair! Which leads me to my own scandal...back several months ago when I started watching you two, I didn’t own a pair of dovos, but now thank me to you two, I have 11 or 12?! And I won’t even discuss how many project bags and new samplers. 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤣

I love you two. I have watched you from your first floss tube. Many rabbit holes have I found!! I am doing the BBD, just can't figure out posting. I heard the Bells on Christmas Day needle book is in progress. Have fabric for the sampler in that book. Looking at What Remains is Love. Finished one the first weekend, for my daughter, guess which one. Anyway. Brenda you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is thrilling to see how well you are progressing. I am glad your spirit is well and very well.

Loved your video this week. I always feel like I am visiting with friends and sad when it ends. Brenda you look radiant. Keeping you in my prayers for continued healing. I am just finishing my radiation and then will start 3 more chemo sessions. My hair has just started to grow back but, I will probably lose it again. I have been rocking the bald look because the head coverings are so hot here in Florida. All about embracing our recovery plan. Stay well ladies and happy stitching!!

I couldn't agree with you more about the Dovo scissors! They are such amazing scissors and I also mourn the fact they aren't being made any longer. I don't have any of the sets, but do have about 10 pair of their 3½" and 4" embroidery scissors.

Love the projects. Love seeing someone who is as squirrel plagued as I have been! I used to be a silk snob but I have rediscovered the joys of cotton: both regular & the even wilder assortments available today of the overdyed. I have actually come to dislike AVAS. I know: shock & horror, but, yeah. I don't know why. The problem is that I have at least a couple dozen or more old samplers that are (dormant but) in progress with it.
Have y'all worked projects with a mix of silks like AVAS, NPI, SnC, Belle Soie, etc together on 1 piece? Are the differences between them noticeable? Particularly the differences between the twist of NPI and AVAS? Or AVAS, in general, how well does it "play" with the others on our playgrounds? I am thinking of changing out the AVAS in my older projects without having to restart them. I know, I could just finish them...but that f word...*shudder*...that involves another f word: focus. Both are scary.
