BITS has released statistics on BITSAT 2020 and no. of students with score >=300 has decreased drastically with only about 6300 students scoring >=300.Will the cutoffs decrease now or will be neutralised by the effect of TOUGH JEE ADVANCED 2020 paper and more students inclining towards BITS?
JEE Advanced is always tough, Teachers like NV sir have already said that the paper is comparable to 2019, so cutoffs will be the same ie around 25%. So no effect

GUYS!! read this after the video. I have major disagreements. You will thank me after reading this. Don't completely follow what he is saying.
Below I have written the prefence order 90% of the students who qualify BITSAT submits in his/her preference order, other 10% are like they need CS anyhow so they keep dual degrees just after CS and before phoenix, some have passion in phy/maths they keep msc phy/maths in top sometimes above CS but they can be ignored. If you think I am lying then take a look at the cutoffs of BITSAT of each year, this is the approximate(best fit) order of cutoffs of each branch one will get. Cutoff order of any entrance tells what is the average order of preference of a general student towards particular branch.
Based on this order if a student is taking CS Goa leaving ECE Pilani (cutoff of ECE Pilani < CS Goa) how can one say that all smart high scorers are getting concentrated in Pilani campus and Goa and Hyderabad campuses don't have that much talent. Every CS guy in Goa or Hyderabad was getting some Phoenix branch in Pilani, similarly almost every phoenix guy in goa and hyd was getting mechanical/chemical/civil/msc maths/msc phy/msc chem/msc bio in Pilani.
Therefore the almost 90% talents qualifying BITSAT gets distributed evenly in each campus in the order Pilani > Goa > Hyderabad for a single branch.
Always keep the branch of your interest (generally its CS/Phoenix(Circuital branch)) in higher preference than campus. For example CS Goa/Hyd should be preferred more than EEE Pilani, because smart students are in all campuses as proved by the cutoff, your branch stays with you life long not your college. You will be getting certificate of BITS Pilani university written on it (Campus name will not be mentioned) from any Indian campus of BITS.
Don't waste your time/interest studying ECE/EEE/ENI in pilani if you are getting CS in Goa/Hyderabad. You will thank me later when you will find your friends in phoenix struggling to score A- and then finding difficult to do coding and you will be bit lite. Also you will not have any issues while applying for MS in CS in USA/Europe which phoenix students will face if they want MS in Computer Science after BE in Electronics.
If you think the placements are much less in Goa and Hyderabad then you can check only 30k per year difference is there in the CTCs of placements of Goa and Hyd in comparison to Pilani. Itself BITS doesnot want to create any discrimination thats why all campuses are named BITS Pilani, Goa Campus; BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus; BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus not BITS Hyderabad and BITS Goa.
Branch >>> Campus(especially in BITS), don't compromise with branch for campus when the difference is insignificant for all 3 BITS campuses.

For those people whose parents annual income is more then 5 lakh(according to papers) have to pay almost the same in IIT and in BITS.
So if officially your parents have annual income greater then 5 lakh then it won't matter much to you if you study at BITS or any government college

Yes -- subjective book has got Solved Examples, nd Objective Questions too at the end of every chapter -- but it won't matter even if you have purchased and are doing the Objective Book -- main thing is Practise, which you would get from either of the books

No, it might be there for the whole course of four years, but we don't get medals, or any other thing of that sort for the semester or yearly Results

@Bitu Khyalia He has to do an IT job so branch doesn't matter to him, Even a rank of 6500 can get you in IIT Delhi Textile branch where you'll get the IIT Delhi Culture and you can sit in IT Placements.
Bhai this is pilani campus aur eee ka placement vo cs pilani ke comparison me kaam keh raha hai, avg this year was 17 lpa for eee which is better than iit delhi textile and even culture and peer group are better than iit delhi textile, bhai jab general walo ko hi 6000 pe iit delhi textile mil rahi hai toh soch sc, st ko kitne pe milegi, iit bhu cutoff for general is 900 but for sc candidate it's 18000 but imagine for iit delhi textile around 50-60% students will be reserved in iit delhi
@@anishsrivastav8098 nope you need core branch and that too competition very high my friend did civil enginfrom Roorkee and they were also not allowed to sit in it jobs and he got package less than 10L had he been in cse in almost every tier 1 college he would have got 25l+

Core placements are too less even for iit guys ... and core placements will give you only 12 -13 lpa salary at max and that is also bagged by just 5 students In a batch of 100 students .... Thats why mostly electrical engineering guys have to do coding so that they can grab IT placements which will give them handsome salary
Core placements are always the same in India. One of my friends, was a 9+ pointer in EEE@ BITS Pilani. And he migrated to IT sector in final year. For core, higher studies( preferable abroad) is recommended. Getting high CGPA with good coding skills will pave the way for both. I think even basic programming skills are required in CDC's of EEE also.

If your only concern is overall development then go for pilani manufacturing but if you want only computer science go for msc degree

Yes, you can get Civil & Chemical at Goa/Hyderabad campus -- moreover you would get Dual Degrees at all the three campuses
