First year se hi tu GATE PREPARATION start kar de to usese tu PSU me job le sakta hai aur tume job nahi lena hai to phir koi bhi IIT se M.Tech kar de to tuje package accha milega .

NO scope in EE
EE sector is very good engineering sector.
But this is vary person to person as their interest in engineering field.
Some of Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc this kind of counties mainly focus on your degree level like BSC,MSC,PhD.
While in American and European countries and Australia-Osania counties and some Asian countries like China, Japan, Russia, Korea etc this kind of counties usually focus on your SKILLS.
So chose your subject where you like to do it.
And EE actually a good branch specially in Europe. There is a vast amount of scope in any kind of engineering field only if you have that much interest and skill on that subject.

8:57 he is wrong. Because iit mandi launched general engineering. And for example in stanford there are interdepartmental courses like biomechanical engineering, biomedical computation, engineering physics etc.

@@ArindamNayekDCE- , are u not seeing the trend of govt jobs decreasing. Govt jobs are being replaced with contract persons. PSUs are being privatised. I am a govt employee and myself seeing less recruitment in my office and many vacancies being replaced by contract people. Before calling anyone pagal, think logically. I think u should first check up with a psychatrist before calling others pagal.

8:57 he is wrong. Because iit mandi launched general engineering. And for example in stanford there are interdepartmental courses like architectural design, atmosphere and energy, biomechanical engineering, biomedical computation, engineering physics, product design etc.
There's also Mechatronics branch which is mix of Mechanical, Electronics and Computer science. Totally useless branch. It's better to have just 1 with full focus.

Just koi bhi placement mile, lelo & don't quit before finding other opportunity. Otherwise MTech in VLSI from top colleges is great option, or you can also go in CSE field
