Study only 1 book for each , if u are studying dc panday then don't touch HC Verma , and study that book 5-10 times , not study too much book , only study 1 book but 5-6 times I m mechanical engineer by profession

Only top 3-4 branches are good in bits and i will suggest to take admission in bits only when you are not having good rank in mains or advance. One more thing is that in banks category a all iits,nits,bits plus many iiits are included.
Only a few NITs, a handful of IIITs are included don't misguide people and talking of placements, even IIT BOMBAY has the same statistics, BITS PILANI CAMPUS AND TOP 4-5 IITS , IIIT HYD are recognized everywhere and go check the median salary of BITS in 2021, it shot up by 21%, and median is what most number of people end up getting, it was about 15 lakhs which is crazy much more than IITs
