Another day, another SOLID review by Thocc. These were really nice to hear clacking at the end tbh. I been using those wolf silvers lately in my Ducky one 3 and man do these thing act fast. Loving them so far.
Oh, right? I''m happy to hear you like them :) I still struggle (and always will :D) with their short actuation, but the type feel is so good thanks to their hand-lubing.

I like their deeper sounds signature with the clack sound. I would definitely try them.

Which HMX switch is the best for you?
I really like the sound. But i never replace my modded Dark Warriors. 😊 ❤
Dark Warriors always hit differently. I still prefer them when going for heavy tactiles :)
They sound great, but the undersized panel mount ridge and clasp are annoying. (I measure them to be about 14.55mm wide, compared to the MX spec of 15.6mm) It's probably not a problem for most kb builds, but it makes them unusably wobbly and loose in my hitbox style arcade controller build. (Using hotswap sockets + panel mount) Are all HMX switches like this?
Indeed, it does not sit as tight on the plate! Some of them really have this problem, but surprisingly not all of them. I don't feel them on my Swifts and Purple Dawns (and maybe the Clouds too as I recall)
I'm really interested in HMX, want to try one. So, I currently use akko piano(first v.)which's 48gf, but I feel it too heavy if I type for a long time. If I concern about type feeling and smoothness, do you have any to suggest me? Thanks 🧡🌹
I think the Macchiato or the Emo can be a good choice then! HMX is definitely a thing worth trying, so I appreciate your efforts to find a suiting version! ^^

Both are very, very creamy! The Canglans have a deeper sound, I'd say the Macchiatos are an all-rounder
Hmmm. Seem quality, but not my fav. A little too clicky for my taste I think. Still nice though.
I can understand, HMX-level of clackiness is definitely not for everyone's taste. (Also not for any configuration.)
