I hope my kickstarter board sounds this good out of the box. Part of me worries that the value is too good to be true, and that they binned their boards, lubed the best ones and sold them to reviewers for extra marketing. Still worth the gamble I think. If all goes well, this'll be my first 100+ dollar keyboard.
Totally valid, especially with the recent gb failures. I was just as skeptical when my friend brought this board up. I was surprised Wobkey even accepted the offer since this is my first formal review. They've already completed several china gbs of this board, if that's any reassurance.
Thank you for showing where the switch is! It doesn't say anywhere in the manual, I was like what the hell are they talking about there's no switch! Definitely inconvenient, but I absolutely love how it sounds and feels.
I really loved this video! It felt like I could feel your thoughts change on the board as you experimented and spent more time with it. It also didn't hyperbolize anything and was very objective when making comparisons (like keycaps and switches included). I know you said you won't do anymore like it (I know these take a long time), but this was really fun to watch :D
@@alceray, I totally get what you mean! It's nice that the video flows well and follows a train of thought. I don't even script my videos, haha. I outline the ideas I need to cover and do it until I like what I'm saying.
Just bought the wooting 60he for gaming, waiting on this to make sure people get their orders but would love it as a regular keyboard. Easy to do a grab and run with $500000 you can never be too careful with kickstarters.
i was thinking of getting on of those to replace my magic apple keyboard. But the sound seems to clacky for me, i will be getting a epomaker hi75 with nimbus V3 switches. on videos i have watch, it was more sounding like deep stones to me.
Kinda regret not ordering one when they kept mailing me. I have no patience to wait a month or two. Now I can only get it through indie and the shipping is in june. Also really dislike the colors of the pro variant. The lite is the only one that has black. And the only acceptable color (for me) among the regular is silver. But the pro colors are all very ugly.
You are in the EXACT position as me. Down to the colors. Is Indiegogo reliable? I don’t want to be a victim of the “still waiting for my keyboard 1 year later” bs. I also read rumors of the board being sold on Amazon in a few months.
@@kinglanky2424 idk about amazon but I can practically guarantee that it will likely be on aliexpress and available on their site. All chinese brands generally have their own store on ali. The thing is, they might double the price by the time it's available to just buy/order directly. And I can practically guarantee that it will at least be 30/40% more expensive buying it from a site like Amazon (you will save some on the shipping) Because they've gotten all this good press already and demand has likely skyrocketed. I imagine it's one of the best selling keyboards in a while. I've never ordered anything on indie or kickstarter. So I'm not sure how or what the rules are.
@nky2424 p.s. to add, the wobkey site claims it's sold out and says "the rainy75 will be limited, only 3000 will be made). But just the indie gogo alone has over 4500 backers. So that makes absolutely no sense. EDIT, indie gogo doesn't even ship to the country I live in.
hey there, I bought the rainy75 and now I dont get how I can use the 2.4Ghz mode as I cant find the battery switch which you have to switch to ON in order to use this pairing mode. I would aprecciate any advice :)
That's just the mic without any filters, so it picks up background noises like my computer fans. I think it's pretty close to how it sounds irl but I don't mind that you disagree. There are plenty of youtubers doing rainy75 sound tests with much better mics than me :D
These budget boards keep getting cheaper but way better quality! An amazing time to be a beginner or even veteran in the hobby🔥🔥
sounds so good; excited for mine to come in

@@alceray yup i heard they just finished their fifth batch instock sales in china 3 days ago, with a new limited red colorway for chinese new year
Typing on my rainy75 stabs are absolutely crazy out of the box no rattle or ticking and sounds so thocky. insane value for money board

I feel like you overestimate my script writing. I didn't plan a story arc and just mashed the sections together but I'm glad you see it like that lol

Its been so long and there is still no better board in this price range

Hope they release a 65% pro
You said this was $100??? That's kinda crazy. I only listened to this on my speakers, but this sounds impressive.
yeah $115 for this config. the value is just insane.
do you have any inforamtion on the charging? like does the on off switch need to be in on mode for it to charge properly?
Which sound should be included if i want to build clacky?
I installed the JSON file from their website and from some reason it isn't being detected in the via website. Any help is appreciated
try turning on "use v2 definitions"
is there no way to make the backlight white through the function key?

Is the bottom the glass or the metal? The shop photos have the gradient design that I like
Standard => Glass; Pro => Silver

Love my rainy 75
I cannot get this thing to pair wirelessly to my MacBook and that’s a huge reason I bought it. I’m pissed.

It's between capslock and A
Hi. May I know what size of screw driver you used?
Womier sk-75 is this keyboard
Do you think it is worth replacing the plate mount stabs with something like Durock plate mount stabs?
they're perfectly fine imo
@@alceray Alright then, nice. Thanks!
How long did it take you to get all the recordings for the different foam sound tests, haha? Nice video
All done in 2 hrs on a late night haha. It was light work compared to lubing switches.
can you do the tape mod on the keyboard?
Yes bu no point
@@SamLoki why not?
How do you charge the keyboard?
Hello! Please tell me what kind of screwdriver you used to disassemble the keyboard? I can't open mine using a 1.5mm hex key.
I dont have the board anymore to verify but I used torx
thanx!@@alceray
@@alceray What happen with board? Not to good?
@@Ravent79 I sold it to a friend who really wanted one and claimed it before I even got it. It's really good tho, still miss it sometimes

Got it for 105 bucks Pro Ver, worth it I guess..
