Don’t know how many times I begged people to watch this during the Olympics. It was perfection and the emotion it created was priceless. Proud of these two Canadians.

They are my favorite skaters of my lifetime and I am 66. Nobody can touch the fluidity, the connection and the amazing lifts these 2 have done. I watched the Bejing Olympics and I compared them all to Virtue/Moira and not one came close. I miss them🥰

As a child who grew up where ice skating was a national winter pastime, I cannot believe the incredible impact this performance had on me. Truly MAGNIFICENT doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel when watching these two together. It’s a joy to behold. ❤
Not as many times as I have watched Torvall and Dean dancing to "Bolero" at the 1984 Olympics. That was a defining moment in Ice Dancing!!

What’s wild is that was one of the hardest routines of the time, yet you’d have children doing better routines now. They’re largely responsible for the current standard we have and that will always be amazing. Then you add in Jaynes humility. She has outright said in interviews she’s grateful for dancing when she did because even at her peak she wouldn’t be able to keep up with the dancers of today. She wasn’t even considering that she would be training to a different standard also and if she was the best at one point; there is nothing saying she wouldn’t have gotten that high a standard. She just has so much love and respect for the sport. 🥰🥰

I watched Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir skating dance three or more times every day they are fantastic pair ILOVE them ❤and I will not stop watching every show just a goosebumps 💕
I need this slowed down she jumps and twists in his arms! 🤯 amazing!
I’ve slowed it down to x0.25 speed and it is the best version of this lift. She picks in and does a blind jump and twists. And unlike other times when he already has his hand on her back when she starts, there is a gap between them and she starts the jump before he supports her back. It’s amazing.
So think about it, twice in this program she does a blind jump backwards into his arms.
I couldn't slow it down but I thought that was what I saw thank you

Ice skating is incredible. There are so many aspects of physical fitness that is required to perfect such a graceful performance.
