Chasing the NORTHERN LIGHTS: Road Trip Day 1 to 3

- Alaska road trip through the old Denali highway to the Denali National Park.
Day 1
We flew into Anchorage, rented a car, and drove 240 miles to reach Denali. We stayed at Denali Lakeview Inn for the next two days!
Day 2
Denali - The great one! Such an apt name. Denali National Park is larger than 6 U.S States and is six times the size of Goa. The frogs here freeze themselves in winter and come alive in the summer!
Our day 2 was all about exploring the Denali National Park and Preserve with the Tundra Wilderness Bus Tour Denali Park Village. As private vehicles are not allowed beyond 15 miles into the park, this was a perfect way to go deep into the wilderness and spot some Moose, Bear, and Caribou!
Day 3
We experienced one of National Geographic's Drive of a Lifetime with a self-driven-radio-guided Jeep caravan tour with Denali Jeep. Do check their business if you love road trips! Jeff was one of the most amazing tour guides we have ever met.

It is easy to lose track of time enjoying the drive; I didn't realize we traveled 100 miles in 4 hours through the tour! If you love nature, scenery, jeeps, and meeting new people, this is a must-do for anyone visiting Alaska!
For me, the tour's highlight was towards the end of the tour, our guide Jeff asked everyone over the radio to tell the others about their Alaska trip. It was so much fun to listen to all the permutations and combinations of Alaska plans that were out there and how we all met for this tour and probably never to meet again!
