  • In this video we show our go-to way to wire up our pro-touring and resto-mod Mustang projects! American Autowire has made it super simple to get this part of the build accomplished and it has saved us a lot of time. Most of the major connections are pre-terminated for simplicity and they give you plenty of extra wiring so you're able to route your harnesses exactly the way you want to.

Thanks for an awesome video! Was thinking about re-doing my 1967 Mustang Gt Ex- race car. Lots of things disconnected for years, Fan, heater, radio. Just running basic things, wipers, lights, turn signals etc etc. 460 big block with MSD 6AL box. Fog lights and cooling fans run off relays to the hot side of the Solenoid. Which KIT would you recommend please? Was thinking "Painless" kit until I came across your Video. Thanks much for any feedback. Cheers from Motown/Dearborn. Oh, New subscriber here. :>)

Great info. I am starting to wire cars and was wondering what your labor charge is? Thanks

*Need advice* I'm at the early stages of a complete restoration of my 1970 Mustang sports roof. It's nothing special VIN wise, but it's been in the family since it was purchased new from the dealer. It has recently had an acid bath, and all the cancerous sheetmetal has been replaced. I already started putting new suspension under it (front is complete, and I'm about to start the rear). My question is should I start the wiring next or should I wait until after the paint and bodywork?

I was watching some restoration videos from a builder and he did all the paint first so as to minimize taping.
