Welcome to Singapore!🤩🤗
welcome to Singapore!
Welcome to Singapore
Welcome to Singapore. You could have visited the biggest hawker centre in Chinatown - Chinatown Complex. Other hawker centres to visit at Chinatown are Hong Lim and Amoy. That's where many locals will go to. Newton/Lau Pat Sat/Tian Tian chicken rice are more for tourists LOL.
Nasi is rice, lemak is fat. That's essentially rice cooked in coconut milk with various side dishes which may or may not has fried chicken. A simplest most traditional version is just wrapped in banana leaf containing coconut rice, fried small anchovies , sambal chili (I love those with onions), egg, cucumber, peanuts.
Thank you for the recommendation! Wasn’t aware of the Chinatown Complex. Will def go there next time.
I always had the traditional nasi lemak w chicken so I thought itself is basically coconut rice w fried chicken. You are very helpful! Thank you.
sg is a food heaven...
Great Video..thanks sharing..
I'm glad you enjoyed Singapore. The humid weather a brilliant part of the country in my perspective but indeed, it's subjective.
I’m from HK so the humidity is quite similar and familiar!
@@asdfgvalerie That’s great. I love visiting Hong Kong and especially 茶餐厅.

15:28 - OMG, that is the exact breakfast that I always have at YY. Kaya toast, half-boiled eggs, and delicious kopi! I add soy and pepper to the egg and just spoon it up.
Hehe I guess that’s a local and tourist spot!!

Can you get a local area map from your hotel and can you pay cash when using the bus?
Map is available and yes you can pay cash but I recommend using contactless card payment! Most convenient

B1-35 golden Mile food centre Chicken rice much better
Oo thanks for the rec - will def try that next time!
Is that the stall which the cook is from Thailand? Just giving a heads up to anyone reading that it isn't really a "hainanese chicken rice".
@@simplyme3306 No. It is not Thai
Newton Food Centre. Average food with tourists prices. Got it😂
Will you go there again?
Definitely!!
Basically the whole Singapore is China town.
Acai fruit place in Joo Chiat has since closed down…
Oh no :(
u described every dish u tried as 'it's ok' 😴
only the hk dessert got a really good, I wonder why hmmmm. #hongkiebias
Hahaha I need better recommendations!
❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🖤🤍🤍
Only tourists go to Newton hawker center.
Next time I know not to go!
Not only tourist, but locals do as well.
The difference is, it’s not local’s first choice of hawker center as it caters more to the tourist scene over the years.
Where is best local hawker center
So...is it a crime
So what’s your point
this is proof of not doing your homework before visiting a country vlog looks like. like who goes to Newton in the day? of cos the food like chicken rice or noodles there are gonna be 'meh'. Newton is a place u go for dinner and supper. the seafood, chicken wings, oyster omelette, satay, etc. and she has local friends. why didn't her local friends tell her these things. why not stop her from wasting time at Joo Chiat lol. or why go to those artsy fartsy place to have nasi lemak, other than the fact that she probably goes to those fancy cafes and restaurants for instagram worthy pictures.
the kwai lo vlogs are more interesting, where they are not afraid of the heat and truly bask in the local scenes, visited the local hawkers and have true hawker food.
Many of us are seeing Singapore for the 1st time.I think she did a great job so lighten up
You should up your production value for the videos. They are lacklustre.
Singapore has lots of Beautiful Women
Hate the sun in Singapore, hate the rain in Singapore...so u hate weather or you hate weather in Singapore but love the rain n sun from where you're from...we might be high tech but I don't think we can create weather...yet...we don't control the weather....
I still love the city tho!
Too hot, too rainy, too expensive!
Over rated !!
ไม่รู้นะสิงคโปร์นี่ ต้องมีเงินมากระดับร้อยล้าน
Singapore hawker centers are overrated.
welcome to Singapore
