Thanks, kids! Ronnie was awesome.. the Ronettes had a few hits.. but this is probably the one they're best known for... I had the privilege to meet her back in the 80's... she was just as sweet and charming as you can see here! appreciate your reaction...
As you celebrate Ronny Spector and the Ronnettes remember she was a survivor of domestic violence, committed by her husband Phil Spector, when ended his life in jail for murder. Her sound and look comes from Spector.
The other big song The Ronettes had was "Baby I love you". th-cam.com/video/GdDwdQxaGdU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0GzKzjYQdMzFg2pB With that said, I much prefer Andy Kim's versions of both of these songs in the 1970's. th-cam.com/video/IzVb2P8RC4I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=czif03Rq6RFf9fQV th-cam.com/video/ZsNRgHlwnMQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cJGtIVIG5qWIohWF As well as Beatrice Florea's versions of both of these songs in the 2020's as well. th-cam.com/video/4EOXGz1-kAc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zhHPDSqRkMpy1Gmq th-cam.com/video/Z0zBoZleYd4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=r3PPCSiFsrfdoGMQ BONUS: th-cam.com/video/arBnR9T8nlc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yBodZuPuPc1UQmJA Lastly, since this video is about music, I highly recommend listining to Vanny Vabiola, especially if either of you enjot Celine Dion. This was such a big song that the Beach Boys were inspired to make their Animal Noises Albums.
