    A few years ago, flew from Los Angeles to Munich, picked up my BMW from the factory and did the 3 country full tour...Germany. Austria and Switzerland. It was so wonderful! This video brings back great memories of driving in Europe!! Simply wunderbar! Thank you for making this video!

    I'm really curious whey there was a border checkpoint between Slovakia and Austria. Was it because of Covid? I used to travel a lot between Vienna and Bratislava and we never had to stop as both SVK and Austria are in the Schengen zone

      Actually, I am not sure about the reason for the checkpoint, but I think it is because of the illegal immigrants, because I saw the inspection also between the Austrian-Italian border, belonging to Italy on the same trip. Thank you very much for watching and commenting 🙏🙏🙏

    hello thank you for sharing -can I ask you a few more questions ?
    Is it cheaper to rent the car from Bratislava ? We are planning to visit Budapest Prague and Vienna by renting a car ? Is there any company that would be cheap that would recomemend us ? And when we rent from Bratislava for example can we travel to all these cities without any problem with rented car ? And also is parking a problem and expensive? And we need the toll way to travel between these cities ? and how much are the tolls If someone knows can explain it to me ? Thank you

      Starting from Bratislava is good or Budapest. Car rental is cheaper. I prefer to use the Rentalcars application. You can travel without any problem between the borders. Parking differs between regions. I prefer a multi-storey parking lot, which is expensive but safer. The most expensive during the trip will be fuel. Have a good trip.

    The cars parked on the sidewalks, do they pay for parking?

    • @solotraveleruae5027
      @solotraveleruae5027  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you mean the beginning of the video, yes, as the sidewalk is planned for parking... Thank you very much 🙏

      unfortunately, Bratislava (and Slovakia in general) has some issues with parking. Most families have 2 sometimes more cars so this is the result. It was actually banned for a while in 2022 and this ban will be back from April 2023
