I wish just for once some ex smoker can just admit they loved it. For god sakes , im back to trying again to quit and doing ok but i will NEVER not be honest! I freaking LOVED it!!!!
You are making my day right now, brother! "If you can make it through one single day, you can make it through a million of them". You make me feel hopeful again and make me take responsibility which I liked to give away by calling it addiction. But yes, man, I got this. Thanks!
Tommy..Thank you so much... I cried watching this because it's the first tangible methods that I truly GET and something CLICKED.. Now, i've the confidence to leave this behind -FOR GOOD. Bless you..and thank you
Lovely and very helpful video. I had quit for 4 months then got back on it for 1 and half month and now I ve quit again since a week . I just wish all the tobacco companies close down so no more temptations
I just found your channel, and I Subscribed.♥️ I have been clean far 1 year and six months. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol. Now, I am facing my cigarette addiction. I Greatly Appreciate Your Videos!!!😊♥️ Thank You SO MUCH!!!♥️
Iv been vaping 0 nicotine the past week and I've been pretty moody, tired, had head aches.... I finally made it to Friday so well see how next week goes
Thank you Tommy so so very much! You are the only person I've come across who actually understands and helps after having been through years of stopping and starting smoking again. You come from such an embodied compassionate space with such nourishing words and techniques. I see what was missing before because this last time of starting again I know I'm blocking God but stuck so stuck again. Thank you and Bless you.
Wow, you really nailed the true root causes! Time, impatience, boredom, grounding... I truly do want to breath and be productive with my time and my life. Thank you🙏
I started off my day without a cigarette and then went and bought a pack but now I know of these breathing techniques that ill have to try out to destress my cravings thank you for your helpful video ill work on it
Your doing a great job with your channel always appreciate these videos.. Intellectually fluent and accurate information with no cheap background music..👍👍👍
Great video. This is my second day without smoking I’m craving it often but I’m holding on and praying for strength. It’s not easy but Got willing I’ll quit this time.
it's me, Georgina grounding has been known in psychology for over 3 decades now. It’s also a part of DBT, and there are a million ways to ground yourself without using a substance :)
*I started at 14. Quit at 39, thru vaping. I was on heroin & Benzo's until 2014 but couldnt give up the smokes. OMG IT WAS A STRONG CRAVING. I painted the home & washed everything down, got rid of any ashtrays etc. When i was coming off heroin i hid "my kit" for 6 months just incase..How stupid. Without vape which has taking hold in Ireland with tons getting of smokes & of nicotine by using them. The act of vaping is a huge thing. I recognized that like heroin, i was addicted to the act, the ritual so like i said, vaping fixes that when your coming of the smokes. Bst of luck folks.*
Thank you so much for not spitting the same crap everyone else does. Thank you for explaining to me the reasons I didnt even KNOW I smoked for. I really do smoke to pass time, to feel grounded. With such bad anxiety,it's hard. What I find the hardest is that I buy my nicotine from work. I go to work every single day. ITS SO EASY TO GET. it's so easily accessible, nobody is telling me no. Everytime I try to quit, i always ask myself "why do I need to quit? I can afford it, my lungs dont hurt. So why quit?" I'm not even addicted to cigarettes. I'm addicted, severely addicted, to single use electronic cigarettes. Not even a mod, no tank, no proper vaping equipment. $7 e cigarettes is what I crave. I hate cigarettes in fact, they're disgusting. I get such a longer high and deeper hit from this rather than a cigarette. I've actually thought about switching to cigarettes to make me stop. insIt's insane. It's so hard to stop when it's so easy for me to get it. How can I say no when it's right there?
So glad I found you because I really want to stop my smoking addictions. I’m underweight so eating food as a replacement won’t be an issue for me, actually good cause I could use 5 to 8 kilo extra. I like to eat healthy. Just have to make sure I also break the pattern of needing something else to fix cravings when I’m finally of the cigarettes. Thank you so much for sharing these video’s 💜
@@hakkurper9798 champix makes you nauseous even if you see someone smoke. Tried it and got so sick then stopped using it needless to say ... I am also still smoking 😣
big_poppa, Thank You for the Tip!!!😊♥️ If You have any other tips, I would greatly appreciate your comments. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol, far many years. Presently, I have been clean far 1 year and six months, now. Next is my cigarette addiction. I must Stop! I see the waste of money and life, with it. Thank you for the one tip! I hope you have been able to quit.😊♥️
Jesus you are so educated and such an inspiration been watching your how to quit weed and how to quit nicotine videos they are super helpful thank you so much
Nevin X, I just found this channel. I’ve been clean of drugs and alcohol far 1 year and six months. Now, it is time for me to face my cigarette addiction, and get off of them. I used to be addicted to marijuana far about ten years. Then, I actually became allergic to it! That helped me to stop, pretty fast!!!♥️😊 Take Good Care Of You!!!♥️ You Can Do It!!!♥️
Very good points. Mostly all the points that I've found so far. And the tips... I mean: WOW. Simple, but I even now believe they are so useful. Thank you so much for this video! I'm going to quit tomorrow, on a very uneventful Sunday. Wish me the best. Thank you! :-)
Woah. The first breathing technique to combat nicotine is amazing! It's cooling to my nose and it feels like a menthol hit that I really crave. Thank you so much for this! I'm starting my journey again today.

Hey Kenny! Exercising releases the opposite, serotonin, and kills anxiety neurons in the brain. Make sure whichever cardio you choose to do is at your own pace, in a comfortable setting, and something you find to be fun - play music, dance, yoga! Hope this helps xx
solid advice especially with the breathing exercises. also smart to attempt quitting on a “non important day”. i am turning 23 years old in april. i’m dishonoring God and my body by continuing to vape. i’ve been vaping for ~5 years. absolutely no reason to put toxins into my body. i thank you for this video and i will be putting this into work. last time i stopped vaping for 7 months or so i replaced it with the gym. saw newbie gains in the gym and felt healthier than ever. lost 50lbs as well. back to the gym i go! 😅
There are several factors in stopping smoking including eg motivation and help from peers. One resource I found which succeeds in merging these is the Quit Smoking Crusher (see the website QuitSmokingCrusher.com) definately the most incredible idea that I have ever heard of. Look at all the site and great testimonials.
This is an easy one... One word.... VAPE lmao and to anyone that thinks vaping isn't safer or better I can 100% promise you it changed my life. If you aren't a smoker then don't vape obviously but for someone trying to quit smoking just vape and every couple months lower the nicotine level until you get to 0 then just quit.
I wish just for once some ex smoker can just admit they loved it. For god sakes , im back to trying again to quit and doing ok but i will NEVER not be honest! I freaking LOVED it!!!!
