- Snoekies! One of Cape Town's oldest local known fish & chips shops is a must- see for any wanderer of the Cape looking for some hearty comfort food.
Tucked away in a neat little spot along the Bay Harbour, Snoekies has ample seating and a warm crew of staff that are happy to recommend some great fishy picks to lovers of food!
A platter for 2 comprising the delectably battered hake, snoek, calamari and "slap chips" (french fries) cost us approx. ZAR/ R 200 (USD/ $ 13) incl. gratuity & drinks (we had a coke no sugar each).
To end off, the harbour market across the road, offers a variety of sweet treats, from churros to Belgian waffles. But if you're grabbing a "doggy" bag to go, make sure you watch for those sneaky seagulls!

Thats looking smashing . 25 year's ago i took my maar family and friends there . We had possibly the worst experience when 2 guy's chasing a 3rd with a hammer into the old shop. Blood everywhere . Everyone were screaming and shouting. Sorry to say thereafter we had lunch at Fish n Chips on the rocks. I wish that we had your experience then. Maybe someday soon.
Wow
I find that small box very expensive
