Please forgive how fumble-y I was in the disassemble. I had been awake a little over 37 hours at this point. I just couldn't wait to see what was in the package any longer ;P side note, me saying have a good night, and get out in the woods was apparently after Jack hit the power button, stopping the camera. so get out in the wood, and have a great week
Good Morning Doug and Jack ! It’s morning for me and after walking my dogs at first light around the edge of The Dismal Swamp (I didn’t name it - I think is an awesomely dismal swamp), this was a fun video to watch while the sun finishes rising and I’m caffeinating my way to humanity. The area has a lot of deer and foxes. Spotted both today and my German Shepherd can smell them at quite a distance, which helps. Takes the chore right out of the morning walk. Glad to see another video and you reminded me that I need another precision oiler for my workbench. Will get that squared away soon. Enjoy the new knife. May all your journeys be adventures and your havens safe.
I am glad you enjoyed it. it's just 4 am here now, ( I am still awake, sleep is not my friend) any day that starts with a dog beside you can't be all bad. have a great one.
Very cool teardown vid. The Eafengrow knives are inexpensive and the quality is pretty good. Pretty much what I do to every single knife I get as they usually come not very clean from the factory and a little maintenance goes a long way to enjoying a knife. I have some strong small magnets that if I ever need to can be put on the side of the bit to allow it to grab onto screws, Wiha bits are great and they go on sale once in awhile on Amazon. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
thank you. and yes, a little TLC does make a huge difference in performance. some people are intimidated with the though of taking them apart, I hope this helped a few people feel confident that they can do it too
Factories are dirty environments and the grease they use almost always feels tacky. Nice work gentlemen! Which minimalist is that your toting? Thanks for the video.

An awesome disassembly. A good looking knife as well. Great video guys 👍
thank you. I usually take all of my knives apart when they are new, because a good cleaning and lube does wonders for them.
