I don't think it was because you were in the alpha/pre-order. I also didn't see that post credit scene a few days ago when I finished it and that was post release. Might be a bug or just something you could accidently skip when skipping the credits. I only saw it when I looked through cinematics after playing and saw there was one I didn't see.

They did a good job on the banter. When we would get in "trouble" in the army, a sideways bravado leading to a joke was a sure way to crack tension. Helped clear minds to focus on the task ahead.

Ron Pratt towing does the same on hazmat spills. One of those situations where you know the slightest spark can kill you at any moment. He had to pause in one of his recovery videos and explain why they do it because they apparently got a bunch of harsh negative comments on past videos on why emergency services joke during serious events. It's a coping mechanism to keep your sanity in check.

The line about Soap using “eyeshadow” is pretty realistic for a soldier ‘cause putting darker-colored paint around the undersides, sides, and top of your eyelids actually helps you see during the day because it absorbs sunlight as opposed to reflecting it (assuming you’re white)

It gives me a giggle when people get all giddy at a tease at what he might look like without his mask, showing they never read the comics where there's full front and side shots of him without the mask on :P
Funnily enough, Ghost's origin story of his first big mission also involves drug cartels in Mexico. In a way the plot of this game was foreshadowed by 13 years. It explains as to why he wears the skull mask: his older brother used to wear one and he was brainwashed while held prisoner when the Mexico Op went pear-shaped.
