Rare Double Cruise Ship Charter Day With Dunedin Railways

Rare double cruise ship day at Port Chalmers, and Dunedin Railways offered two separate trips up the picturesque Taieri Gorge. Passengers were collected directly from the Port, and the triple header train provided a port shuttle service to the Dunedin Railway Station. Due to a shortage of room DJ 1210 & DJ 1221 were detached at the Dunedin Railway Station on the return journey to Port Chalmers.
