    When you love in CA you don't worry about flooding with a CAI, ran CAI on all my cars on CA rainy days, still going

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I live in CA and for the most part you're right. However when it DOES rain.... where I live gets flooded easily so for that sake, I just play it safe. Would hate to be in a rush to work and go through a street where the water is a bit too high and flood my engine.

    Just curious I’m going to take a look at this car but wondering how the fit is, I’m about 6 foot 320 pounds and I’m worried about the seat back being wide enough for me to sit in. Do you have any bigger friends that have drove it sat in it? Appreciate your videos I’ve been looking at buying a new car and you have made me obsessed with this car.

    Is the amber delete legal? I thought that in The U.S they had reflector requirements (or something like that) for headlights. Also, thank you so much for all your veloster content.

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would state that it's probably not legal, but like many things, it really comes down to how your local authorities crack down on things. Here, where I live, it's something that isn't looked at our actively hunted down. Now, if you do something that would get you negative attention, this would probably be something to be included (like dark tint). I'd be careful just to be safe.

      @@leolevesque721 hahaa I try to reply to most comments. I did get more sound in the interior but thats what I meant when it said it sounded stock. At low RPM, inside it sounds a bit stock. Maybe a deeper rumble but not much louder. Outside you can hear it for sure but it's not obnoxious. Higher RPM or wide open throttle is where this sounds nice and clean but I feel most people want something louder.

The power is insane, im glad i went with the turbo. Im gonna subscribe to your channel, you seem down to earth. My only kink with is it, it feels just like my brothers mustang. you can feel every bump, what do you recommend for that? like i dont want to lower my car, i just want a smoother ride. • @Chayness
      @Chayness  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@the_nuggetz1282 Well that's an easy fix but not always cheap. Most people swear by Koni's yellow shocks for comfort. They're amazing quality but also quite pricey. If the ride is really that bad, i'd check to make sure someone didnt already lower it (even if it's only a little) or check the stock shocks to make sure they're not leaking and causing the rough ride. Also thanks for the kind words!

    Have a 2016 trying to get tips with out doing any cutting or modifying the stock exhaust any suggestions hard to find duals your clamp on to original exhaust

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its actually pretty easy. The thing you need to do is remove the fake exhaust ports (those big circular exhaust outlets are fake and bolted onto the rear bumper. Watch my Greddy exhaust video to see what I mean). Once you remove those ports, you'll actually see the ACTUAL exhaust outlets. They're quite small. My guess would be like 2" to 2 1/4" wide (make sure to measure) and buy the right sized clamp on tips. They should reach..... i've seen some pretty long extended exhaust tips lol

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's a video I released before this about Hyundai making "N Line" products for other vehicles. I also explain how the whole JDM culture does similar. It's not about Badging, it's about the higher quality part. I'm not putting N badges on the car, but the door sills for example are nicer than any of the stock sills and cheaper than aftermarket sills. Watch that video cuz it's kind of a long explanation. It's similar to how 2nd Gen VT owners are putting the Veloster N wing or side skirts on their cars when they don't have a Veloster N. I go into that as well. It's more or less typical car culture.

      It's part of the whole "Aggressive Traction Control" issue. Turn of traction control sometime and just notice the huge difference in the way it drives. I personally don't want to use the Pedal Commander device, i'm just going to wait until I tune it.
