Video idea. How do you deal with wet gear on the trail. I.e in Tassie as you know when it’s cold and you’re wet it’s not a good match. So wet from rain or sweating. Personally I sweat climbing even when it’s cold, and as soon as I hit the plateau I need to change clothes. If your doing this for days obviously you can’t carry spare clothes. Interested in how you deal with this?
Last trip I did with my mate, we got to camp and set up, then broke out the cooking stuff. He took his Soto Windmaster out of its pouch and shrieked. Literally shrieked. In horror. The stove had grown a rust beard. Literally fuzzy, short hair beardy shit made out of rust (and probably mould of some sort) was growing all over the stove. His partner had "borrowed" the stove on a car camp trip with the girls and when she got home, she just chucked the gear she'd used back into where they stash the stuff without cleaning them. My daughter, who was with me and my mate for this trip, whispered to me: Is this why you have a set of gear that's just yours and you don't let anyone else use? I smiled and nodded.
Haha, sounds like the stove grew a personality of its own! Maybe it wanted to join the camping fun too. I have some similar stories! Can be frustrating!
Sadly some people just can't return items in the same or better condition as when they borrow them. But when you do find that person the shed is always open.
My gear guru is coming strong again. I can't believe I'm a day late. I need starlink just in case you upload when I'm out walkabouts
Keep going mate.
I missed release of this one too! Was in the mountains!
Well that was organized. I use too much time finding stuff when going out on a hike. Subscribed and cheers from Norway!
Thanks! I love Norway. Was there in June and July. Cannot wait to get back!

Great idea. It is a tough one! Was on a very wet walk yesterday and was trying to combat exactly this issue. Will add to the list!

Hat ordered,
Thanks! Enjoy!
Nice one, I've been keeping my drink bladders in the freezer too for years (even though I wash them out). No neck buffs?
No neck buffs. But I am thinking of getting one!
Gas canisters should NEVER be stored in a basement. Even camping gas canisters. At least that’s the rule here in Norway….
Ok, Moww-sah, still working on that pronunciation.
