Canisters are all wrong. A disposable cartridge spelling doom for a disposable life.
This happens when the world asks us.."what were you thinking with your little fuel spray can to bet your life on ?"
Get an MSR Dragonfly or multifuel stove..and a hatchet..

The fuel used is recycled, most hikers refill and re-use. Only those who don’t know that, toss it out. On many trails, people leave their used fuel canisters with little fuel left in them, other hikers can take them and use the little extra fuel left overs to add to theirs or vice versa. Regardless, hike your own hike.

@SparkyOne549 I will hike my own hike, and when your canister runs out, I will show you what an intelligent choice in a stove looks like.

@@anandarochisha I’ve never had a canister run out on trail, there are many resupply options and options to refill the canister. I forgot to mention, going lighter with some items allows for more comfortability. Are you a thru hiker, section hiker or camper?

@@SparkyOne549 I disagree with you. Most canister users don't bother to refill. They just buy more. Refilling is for a small sample of users.
As for You. It is clear that the mindset is that you don't run out because it is just you and you are not outside long enough anyway.
No comfort or convenience for anyone on a long trail, especially serving family or friends.

@ I’m a thru hiker, not a camper, so I use and refill my canisters because resupplies are plenty, but small canister lasts me 8 meals which is every 8 days. I have the option to not refill or refill on trail. It all gets used. But I know not every1 does it.
