I had no clue these controllers existed. Thanks for the review I haven't held a Dreamcast controller in decades so I don't remember the controller being bad at all. However, with all the changes since then who knows
Sure thing! And yep, I'm glad these suckers exist now. I actually enjoy playing DC again. One thing too that I caught wind of after making this vid there is also an adapter out there called "RetroBlue" that lets you pair bluetooth controllers to the system. I'm considering getting it
Unpopular opinion on the Dreamcast controller? No dude you’re on point, I’ve NEVER played with anyone who finds the controller comfortable, and for me personally I have dozens of burned games that I just don’t play because of how uncomfortable everything is. I’m SO GLAD the striker controllers exist
I bought one of the wired ones a few years ago and the left trigger broke within the first couple weeks. I opened it up to see what I could do, but turns out there is a tiny plastic peg that keeps it working right that broke off. All I did was pull the trigger in PSO to constantly keep the camera centred. The wireless one's triggers look like they're less cheap.
I have both, prefer the wireless because it has a little more weight to it but I've had no issues with either. Side note, I normally play on a kdl-32xbr6 for the VGA and have never noticed any lag at all with it.
Thanks for the input, yeah the last time I actually played my DC on an LCD it was more than ten years ago so not a very good way to gauge :P modem LCDs sucked with pretty much any retro system back then when it came to latency

The analog stick could have been placed where that lay little button is next to the vmu slot and the pad pushed up a little bit left

Hey do you got a back lit vmu? Does it work in the new wireless version because I know it doesn't in the wired.
Sorry man, I don't. I wouldn't know I never really experimented with VMU's
28 years later lol
Exactly
