Shogun2 big battle performance test running on Dell n5110 gt 525m.

- settings: 1366x768 DX11 all high with anti aliasing MLAA, also HDR, vignette, distortion and tessellation are enabled. min: 11fps, avg: 17-23fps max: 32+fps (seem to be no difference in performance when using fraps or without fraps)
notes: here the performance may be controversial due to the fact the game only detected the intel intergrated graphics with 535 vram, while it seems to be running with the discreted graphics. Hence, the game may not be using the full potential of the gt 525m. - เกม
@OMEROZBILGIN cheers :) yes any 400 and 500 series gfx from nvidia support dx11. but only a few games i would recommend you to run in dx11 otherwise you will experience performance drop. dirt3, shogun 2, bf3, nfs the run all fine in dx11(record faster with fraps), batman arkcity, crysis 2 will definitely run noticeably slower in dx11. not sure about the rest.
i just bought N5110 i5 - 6 GB ram - GT 525 M.. waiting to deliver..
i thought that just wouldn't be enough to have the fun of this game but this vid. encouraged me about getting it..
i have few questions if you don't mind...
1- Have you overclocked or used a booster tool ??
2- i'm getting the games now to install right after i unbox the notebook. Which one(s) of these games i got can be played with it without doing any addons or upgrades..?

@OMEROZBILGIN i have done no overclock/using a booster. but still a cooling pad is needed for stable performance on this laptop. you can play all of those games fine without any addons, but make sure your video driver is up to date(285.62 forceware). currently i have strange lag movement issues when playing shogun 2 with 6 to 8 players, hence i recommend you to use medium settings. bf3, nfs run, skyrim, crysis recommend in medium high/low settings. mw3 can run smoothly on max.
@TheOnlyR4ND0M yeah it's a beast for its price, i bought it at a price of a low-mid end laptop as i chose the one come with a lower end cpu core i3. but still its gaming capability is equilvalent to a fairly good entry gaming laptop when comparing to older laptops.
@TheOnlyR4ND0M im sorry to say no, it's far from that. it's worth noting the mid range laptop gfx gt 525m is equilvalent to a low end desktop gfx. its performance is in between the ati hd 6450 and 6570. if you want a laptop that run well in demanding games, you need at aleast a gtx560m or above (around 800-2000pounds pretty expensive). dell alienware is a good one to choose if you don't want to build your own laptop.
@MrHardcord for which game? at this stage i don't think there's a solution for such issue, it's all down to the video driver or whether the game can work properly with optimus drivers.

@TheOnlyR4ND0M yeah you can overclock it, on mine you have to use a cool pad to get stable performance once it heats up - but 95c?dat's way 2 high! but still i don't recommend you do too much overclocking on this laptop due to insufficient cooling and the quality of the chip is not suitable for heavy overclock.
@LHITShappy but i can overclock the gpu till 740 core clock, 1480 shader clock, and 970 memory clock but the temperature goes up till 95C it's a beast with its price
hey, i got the same laptop can it run bf3 on high? is it more than playable 40fps+
Is there a solution for the graphic card not being detected? because I have the same problem with my 525m >>
