How to download Banner Kings Cultures Expanded for Bannerlord **Modlist has changed a MOD in the modlist. Expanded Bannerlord Armoury is no longer used BKCE. ORBIS TERRAE ARMARIUM is REQUIRED instead.

Did you have a problem with the Cultures Expanded mod? For me it says missing Orbis Terrae Armaruim whenever I load it up. Looking for solution but can't find one.
@@derekosborne375 Yea I downloaded all the files on nexus ( Orbis Terrae Armaruim was on there as well ) & followed the steps. I guess i must have made mistakes the first 2 times & I was on the updated version of BL
@WalkAwaySmilin Not your fault. They didn't even announce the amoury change. Orbis terrae is the scrapped version of EBA which they are working Orbis from the ground up now along with some original armor pieces from EBA. Hence why eba is 8gb vs orbis 4gb. Also the video is still talking about Eba which sucks cuz its a major mod change that literally prevents you from playing unless you know, and everyone still follows the same process as they should because it was never anncounced lol. Just glad yall could get it to work. Banner kings is already a pain sometimes and changing stuff up is not fun. Cheers, I hope you get some good campaigns 🎉

I'm super grateful for this explanation! I've been trying to figure this out, your video made it happen. I'm running into one issue though, arena tournaments crash! I'm not sure which mod is causing it either :/ Any pointers or suggestions?

Great work with mod! I have seen the videos they look amazing! I have a question: I use Geforce Now. Hence I can only install mods from workshop. Unfortunately my PC is ancient and buying a new one is not an option anytime soon. Will the mod ever be uploaded to Workshop? Is there a way I can upload this mode to my personal workshop coollection? Thankk yoou in advance for your help with that!
I don't think they will. Right now they are testing, releasing patches are after a long hiatus of Banner Kings not being worked on for so long. It's also available on github.
some mods have a red symbol because I got them from the workshop but it says it still takes them from the modules folder so I don't understand what to do to fix the crash report
If they're red from workshop don't use them. Steam workshop is very "unregulated"

Im looking at my downloads and I am not sure where to find the all of the BK files that you showed in the steps of dragging the files and so on, I use Vortex so thats an automatic mod manager, do I have to do everything for BK and BKCE as manual downloads? I'm also on Windows 10
I don't use vortex personally, but from what I understand the vortex button on the upper left on the nexus mods individual mod page is where you download. You will not have to install any mods manually except for BLSE. BLSE launcher extended is broken. Just use the regular BLSE.launcher.exe version.

Fresh install, followed all the steps and installed Armories Patches and so forth. The LauncherEx just closes after I open it up. When I check the normal BLSE Launcher, I have all the mods. Any ideas what might have gone wrong?
That's odd. Did you make sure to unblock your blse file upon installation, or try the blse.launcher exe, not the extended

When I ran the unblocker 3 times even. It says all files r unlocked. The main launcher crashes. Ill delete all the mods and attempt again tomorrow maybe but as it stands, im not able to run it. Ive advised with the install guide by Vezzari I think it was as well. All versions are as the guide suggests. Prolly ive missed smtn. Thank you for the reply ❤❤
@ormr5636 a purge might help, yes. Ik banner kings has been patching constantly last couple weeks. Makes it difficult to pinpoint version mismatches or mod conflicts. Clean install your best bet. Just remember blse files stay, or Novus if you use it

I would pay to just download it all combined instead of having to find 20 different mods and be aware of versions.

So I’m guessing Diplomacy is no longer needed, but will it work with improved garrisons, seperatism, fourbarie and Calradia at war? It worked on 1.1.5 with bannerkings.
Yea. On 1.2.8 and 1.2.9, diplomacy doesn't work. War ai and tweaks works with only fillstacks, (idk if you can use more, it has been updated), if your looking to buff diplomacy. Banner Kings has its own diplomacy overhaul, though fouberie, improved garrisons, and Caw should work. Ik people have had issues with certain rebellion settings in seperatism

Lastly, what’s your advice with regards to load order in implementing these mods?
Caw, improved, then fouberie, listed top to bottom listed. Separatism would be great, love that mod
Any idea of bannerkings works with the newest version of europe 1100? Overhaul mods need to start using bannerkings, the mechanics it adds are necessary
I'm not 100% but I'd say no. BK was rekindled after a hiatus. I've heard talk about it being a possibility, but I imagine people are working on it. Many mods are being updated for RBM to run with BKCE I wouldn't see why one of the biggest overhauls right now wouldn't be on the horizon.
to disable tropp modules is it ai rbm module and rbm combat modules ?
There are 3 main modules for RBM. RBM Combat, RBM AI, and RBM Tournament.
The troop modules aka the troop overhaul is under RBM combat and must be turned off. AI module is a separate things below it. You can have all turned on for AI.

@@Raidriar- No, I meant the submods you are using, not the one's you went over in the video, like XorberaxLegacy ect... I downloaded all the one's I saw you had and experienced crashes during battles so I figured it was due to the load order. I was hoping you might share a screenshot of the load order since it also shows the versions, so I can just replicate it, thus saving time having to test them.

Hello! I have a question, install everything using vortex. but I have a small problem when opening banner kings the game crashes. I have version 1.29 and in the loading order everything is perfect, it just tells me that the mod configuration menu needs 2.8.11, but if I put that option banner kings asks me for 2.8.15. any solution? Maybe I have to go back to version 1.28?

On blse launcher? Check dlls unblocks. I know that ui extender and harmony updated in the last couple weeks. Maybe an out of date dependent mod. You should have to go back to 1.2.8. Try new install of banner kings if not. Only other things I can think of is since your on vortex maybe the assets didn't go into the bk and bkce folder, but I don't use vortex. Let me know if anything works
I did everything as shown but when I try to start a fresh game by clicking on Banner Kings on the main menu, it just crashes the game after like 10 seconds. What can I do :D
Most likely, assets are not in the folder or could be dependices not being the correct version. The videos out of date if your following the exact versions I used, but the installion is the same. Same folders, just different versions. Look at the github for the most up to date files they want you to use with this as guide. If that doesn't work try the BK discord. Im pretty active there and you can post more details
What do you do if Bannerkings Cultures Expanded is "Missing" Orbis Terrae Armarium? Everytime i try told load it up it displays that message.
You will need the orbis terrae armarium armor pack. It replaces Expanded bannerlord armory and is required. The pinned comment has all the mods and links

Probably bkce assets missing. In your blse launcher, you can't enable bkce mod, correct?

the install guide also says to:
DISABLE RBM TROOPS MODULE inside the Main menu.
DISABLE RBM TOURNAMENTS inside the Main menu.
ENABLE RBM COMBAT MODULE inside the Main menu.
can you tell me what exactly "troop module" is refering to?
is it the ai module? or the troop overhaul option.
The Combat module encompasses the troop module. The troop module needs to be off. It is the troop overhaul, not the ai that is separate and can be toggled to your preference. The tournament module must be off, too.

For me it's saying it missing something called a Orbis Terrae Armarium for culture expanded. I would add a picture but I cant.
No worries, sorry if the video is outdated, but the github is the most reliable for BCKE as of right now. This is more of a guide now. You are right, Orbis Terrae Armarium mod is taking over as the main armor asset instead of Calradia expanded armory. You will need it now. According to the devs its some of the same armors they are just restarting from the ground up. Someone asked a similar question in the BK discord, so you're not the only one confused, and I think they haven't updated this information on Nexusmods only github

report problem I have some extra mods, but even when I disable them, I still get the report.
See if your bk assest are in the correct folders. Could be dll not unblocked after downloading mods. Check major dependencies are up to date. Harmony,ui extender except for mcm and the like have all updated recently. That's your best bet being up to date then see if it's still crashing
hello , MCM's latest version is 1.2.7 and bannerking's is 1.2.8. Can i play it on 1.2.8 with mcm being on 1.2.7 or do i have to go for an older version ?
Yes, you can. No need for older version you always want up to date with butr stack, mcm, harmony, etc...

Hello, can't say I have. What version of bannerlord are you on? Also expanded bannerlord armory I guess, is now replaced by orbis terrae Armarium armor mod. Could be that if you don't have it. Best bet is BK discord if it continues. I cant see the error log, so I can't exactly pinpoint a potential conflict.

Are you using the BLSE launcher or Native, and did you install manual or Vortex. If you are using BLSE which .exe did you create as your shortcut to launch from. It may vary from computer but you check here: www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/1. You should be using Launcher Ex if you using BLSE.
If you want more direct help you can join the Banner Kings Discord. There are some very knowledgeable people in there.
does anyone know to fix Blse saying it was installed in wrong direction but i followed the exact steps and i cant launch it am i dumb or is it broken recently
C: File, proram files 86, steamapps, common, bannerlord, bin, win64 shipping client. Should be 7 folders. The one you want will have the bronze horse and ex at the end for extended. You might have installed into the other folder when clicking on bin that's for gamepass users. Download again and bring up the blse download folder. Delete all your blse files that match blse download in your Win64 folder. Now drag over your blse files to Win64 folder. Could also your launching from the wrong blse exe in your folder, check blse description
I use vortex and I cannot figure out why it won't start. I click on Banner Kings and it just crashes on launch. Any ideas?
Could be banner kings assets not all installed. I dunno though because I don't use vortex. Bk discord has a whole topic with 100+ modlist for BKCE using vortex

Also RAR deletes all files pre existing files and it cost money so can you do one without Rar or is it any different then just dragging and dropping

Right under open source weaponry patch just enable like your other mods and place in that spot. The load order is shown in the pinned comment and video at 5:52 along with some other mods you can use, not required for bkce
Hello,can you make a mod that lets me defend every castle or city but without my army,only me and castle/city defenders and i want to be able to position them like i do at the start of a normal siege/battle? or point me in the right direction for modding community? im willing to pay a small amount ≈20€...correct me if thats too low i have no idea how modding works. I remember that mod. I liked it a lot but it's some work specially when you have other troop sorters. Great mod for using spell casters and aoe units so they don't blast your back troops. Thanks for reminding me I might use it on my BK playthrough.

Disable tournament rbm. Enable rbm combat module, it's mandatory. And disable troop module

Hmm. All your main dependcies like harmony, butterlib etc... are updated. Uiextender released a new update a few days ago. It may be related to not being updated. Try that and lmk

Man the way they explain the file structures on the github is not very clear. Thanks for this. Works now, world map is laggy as fuck (any solutions?). Battles work fine though.
I get low fps sometimes too but I got a lot of mods and possible conflicts. Any mods? What version of bannerlord are you on? How bad is the fps, lowest?
@@Raidriar- no other mods but what's required. Can't give you an fps number right now. But it's more stuttering than fps lag.
That's odd. I would try a reinstallation and try again.thats the only thing I can think off. Ik that campaign map is very cpu intense while gpu is good for battles. You may be cpu bound resulting in worse fps map but it shouldn't be that bad. I get lower fps on campaign map from 50 to 120 range and in battles 144 plus

@kobe2142 Wydm not respond. Your game doesn't launch? If you are using file versions from the time of the video posting date, I strongly suggest you update all to the newest, and what version of bannerlord are you running. If it's something this bad it might be blse launcher. What speicifacally is not working though, cuz all the files are the same its just they need it be updated to the current version

@@unacuentamasTry clicking it again cuz sometimes BK crashes for no reason, but I imagine you already have. Otherwise make sure your assets are in the folders. What version are you running for bannerlord. It could be some mods on a certain version conflict with your main game version.

@unacuentamas idk then its hard to gauge the issue when I can't see the log. Join the bk discord and post your log there. I also don't use vortex. However there is a guy named Xalderin on the Bk discord. He uses vortex and 100+ mods on BkCE. He has been refining the list over months. Very knowledgeable.

Bro all the file versions are wrong. Yeah if we watched this video in january no prob but they've all been updated now so this video makes no sense
Wdym. It's the same files just download the most up to date. All the files and file order are literally the same, everything except now it's 1.2.9 is 1.2.7. If your having issues it's probably because your dependcies are not up to date. Banner kings spurred a lot of modders to update older mods and keep up with the community more in general with patches and whatnot. The video is still relevant as it's exactly the same as day 1 of Cultures Expanded, nothings changed
@@Raidriar- Nah downloaded RBM which isn't compatible with the native version that Banner king uses. 1.1 or something. All of those dependencies like harmony and butterlib etc are way ahead of the banner king files.
@@lawbird5803 I'm running over 100 mods with Banner Kings. I'm using 3.7.8 or 1.2.8 rbm and using rbmfix which is from early Feb on 1.2.9. It's works idk what to tell you. I talk to people in the banner kings discord who run 1.2.9 with 100+ on vortex and still have no issues.The files versions don't really matter for harmony, mcm, butterlib, better exception becaus the most up to date file is best. I'm using the latest banner kings. If it's new why rollback for the specified version if it works. Plenty of others have said it works and play on 1.2.9 with mixed mod file versions. It works for me and many others I don't get what your trying to get at. Same files different version, almost all the mods required for bkce are uploaded this year for 1.2.8 and beyond. And armor mods aren't as strict with versions. I'm using bahumat armor and vaegir armory still. The only one to worry about is EBA since it updated but no official statement has been made to change the load order or mods in there. If you are worried about crashing playing 1.2.8 version or vice versa then just download the corresponding mod in rbm 1.2.8 is 3.7.5. I was using rbm 3.7.2 for the longest time into 1.2.9 due to the retreat mechanics till I found the rbm fix
Keeps crashing. F it. Uninstalled the whole thing. Game isn't worth the headache to get all these mods working together

@RotterFederico no problem. I'm glad I can provide some sort of advice for those crashing, banner kings is fun but frustrating. Im sure you will be fine on 1.2.8, but let me know if any issues persist.

You can. I've talked to some who have along with other adding other mods. I'm unsure of the process though as I don't use vortex.

I'm having the same issue. Unsubscribed to the steam ones and download the correct prereq versions. I think I followed but perhaps I am missing something. Can not set BKCE to active in the mod list
@bullettrain2224 are you sure the assets are in there. Not having the Assets can prevent you from playing, the grey box around the mod. Otherwise I have no idea, or else your not playing on 1.2.7 or 1.2.8. That's the main reason for greyed out mods, version mismatch

for me everything worked perfect. i played about 10 hours and i was really hooked. the mod is amazing.
then the crashes started and got worse and worse. i had to stop playing it. very disappointing :(
Hmm. If you join the banner Kings discord they can look at your log file. If you had any other mods they might conflict. Banner Kings is very incompatible

@rafaelrafa9971 what exactly is your problem? Are the mods greyed out in the launcher, are they not shown in the launcher? Are you crashing on startup? More specifics
@@Raidriar- no only the needed mods. i had like an hour to install it with all the right versions of the mods.
After the crashed i thought: f it. i started a new playthrough with only the diplomacy mod. same story crashed started after like 10 hours. idk just really frustrating.
Diplomacy conflicts with Banner Kings. It has its own diplomacy system. I'm not sure why diplomacy alone crashed. If you loaded into the same save that you had BK on then ypu have to start a new save. Not sure why you crash overall, if no mods are greyed out then you should be good. Assets are needed to even run the mod
