  • Conditions were far from ideal on our last day in Wyoming. After a few stalks we were rewarded with an opportunity at a great buck! This hunt was full of wildlife and a great experience in the Red Desert of Wyoming!

Brian, I loved this hunt from 1st day 'til harvest. I adore pronghorn hunting for what it is and apparently so do you. I have a goal to hunt the red desert. Thanks for giving me a great look into

This was one of my favorite hunts and videos. The filming, the editing, the information were really good. I'm not a hunter, I started watching your videos to learn and educate myself and I thank you for that! BMack you're really good at the narrative and adding interesting facts such as the wild horse issue. Great job, thanks again 👍👊

My first big game hunt was antelope in southeast Wyoming. They are smart! They hang out by the Hwy fences, in the middle of cattle herds and yes, tight, tight groups. So I shot a doe, and still had meat in the freezer.

I spent 19 years of my youth to a young adult in Wyoming hunting and fishing. Many a hunt for the Wyoming pronghorn, that is a nice one, but to get one of the really big ones, it usually takes more than 4 days and you should really be proud of what you got with this one. Very nice, however, try it with a bow, I spent every weekend for a month in a hole next to a water pond before the right buck came by. One of my best pronghorn hunts but not my biggest. A 200 to 400 yard shot is the norm, yours looked much closer. Good hunt, good buck, good meat. Very good video.....

The Red Dessert is famous for high scoring Antelope Bucks but sometimes the food available and weather when the Antelope is growing up could influence the horn size by the time hunting season starts. You folks hunted in some real cold conditions by the way you were dressed. The wind that never seems to stop in Wyoming and the cold produced a wind chill that made the hunt less than comfortable, but it was a hunt that will provide fond memories, most of them do. Was it October when you hunted.?

Ive lived in the area for over 30 years, and have seen first hand the destruction ferrel horses cause. much of the prime elk and deer country in the red desert area has been destroyed by them. they overgraze, run off wild game, and stomp out springs that are crucial watering holes. if you really want a "wild" animal to look at in the area reintroduce Bison. at least they could be managed.
