Congratulations also to Zaiden - you got to experience a great hunt and you were successful as well, as you learned a lot on this trip, no doubt. I'm 50 now....you guys sharing this hunt, brought tears to my eyes. I saw myself out there with my, now deceased, best hunting partner & friend ever; my "ole man". Beautiful memories being made. Savor every moment. They grow up fast.

I've seen quite a few of your videos. Big bulls and bucks, beautiful country, fish of amazing color, tha camaraderie of your camps. IMHO the best footage of all of it is that closing scene of the 2 young men packing out Gage's deer. That is the distilled essence of what and why we pursue this passion. Kudos!

Nothing better than spending some time with the boys. Especially when it comes to hunting with them. You couldn't ever teach them better way to provide for the family.

My first buck was a 3x2 that I shot from a dirt road in the Uintas. One shot, one kill. Afterwards I was shaking so badly I couldn't even hold him up for pictures. Such a great experience. Congrats on this fantastic hunt.!!
Great lessons with all of the emotions - excitement, disappointment, panic, dread, relief. Hard to explain how that feels until you've been there. Hopefully will help with future hunts, shots, decisions.
So far the videos with the kids have been my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I want to see you guys be successful and potentially harvest great animals, but being a father myself, this is what it is all about. Great job!!
This hunt created a great memory for these boys as well as for Dad. Not a perfect shot, but nevertheless a take down shot and something to really be proud of. Boys thank your Dad for being a good mentor and guide to great hunting. Enjoyed it !

I'm sure his patience was wearing thin. I know I bugged the hell out of my ole man 40+ years ago. But I do remember many times, he just let me talk loud, clomp my feet, throw shit, etc. Now that I'm 50, I see how he wanted me to succeed, but also taught me it's more than punching a tag.

Excellent hunt and like a lot of other comments them packing out the deer was awesome. Im all about showing the youth the great outdoors and hunting and knowing where your food comes from. I also believe in aiming for hair and not air. I also believe in knowing your limitations of yourself and your equipment. 365 yards was too far for the future hush personality. For the people that say he hit it, yes he hit it but did not kill it with the shot and he pulled the shot into the guts. One shot one kill know your limitations and your equipment and do everything in your power to respect the animal enough to give it a clean kill.

You guys should use custom turrets tapes so you can just click it to the yardage they are great that way you don’t have any hold over just put it on it and squeeze the trigger.great job love all your videos
