I appreciate this video so much.I learned a lot. I will look at it a few more time. Can you do another video explaining the best acrylic for dark colour. I bought a white and it’s too thick for the gel plate. Regards from Sydney Au. .
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you show us all the different types of paper’s and how they operate. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
At are the best papers and weights for large scale prints as most papers I've tried warp or bubble slightly due to weight. I want to also roll the finished print into a tube to send out to customers. Any advice is appreciated.
THANKYOU I think this has to be the best video i5have ever watched on gelli printing. You have created com truly Beautiful and amaz6pieces of art Thankyou...🥰🤘🤩💜
Thank you so much for explaining what papers can be used and what not to use. I would never have thought to put plants down to get an impression but everything you did turned out so beautiful. I really look forward to your videos Take Care Hugs and Smiles
I love the prints you achieved with the plants. I did that recently, but they weren't as lovely as yours, now I want to try it again - it is time my channel got another gel print video anyway!
I just have ONE ISSUE to clear up: Is deli paper that is suitable for GELLI printing WAXED or WAXED? There is a LOT of confusion out there. Some say deli paper is the same as parchment paper. Parchment paper from COSTCO is WAXED? Is this PARCHMENT paper suitable for gelli printing? So the question is: which works for gelli printing? Waxed or UNWAXED paper???????????
I don't get it, my paper ALWAYS sticks to the gelli plate, it will tear. Also just copy paper It doesn't matter how thick or thin I have the paint on the plate and how long I let it dry, how hard I press it etc. If I press it lightly to almost no pressure, it often does not stick, but then the paint does not come over on the paper. What should I do?
Hi Mo! I’m interested to know the exact brand and type of the photo paper you used for this. I can assure you that glossy coated photo paper can stick to the Gelli Arts® gel printing plate and that if it does, it will ruin a plate beyond salvation. I know because I’ve tested it on one of my own plates! However, maybe you’ve stumbled across the exception to the rule. So I would love to hear from you!
