    Love this! Never seen the paste made in just hot water before (I usually see them being ground in mixie then added in oil+ hot water). Will try this method. But I feel adding lots of butter will make this more delicious. I love butter so I'll surely add lots of butter when I make this. This is best for roti, even puri, chaat items like samosa and rice. Quick and simple but filled with protien.

    This recipe is a keeper! I made it for a group of 6 along with other items; everyone enjoyed and said it was lipsmacking. Thank you, Shri Bhat for a fantastic recipe which was appealing to all age groups with poori. Now for the negatives - this has to be done a day in advance (without cilantro and then add later with reheating) and the fact that there is a lot of spluttering and cleanup, please do not do that on the day a guest group arrives, oh my! I spent so much time in cleaning up stuff around ( my kitchen has a electric coil burner in the US, so imagine how to calibrate heat) and the best part is everyone enjoyed except me as I didnt have enough to actually savor the dish after so much preparation. Hmmm, i had a pickle with my puri...next time, i will make just for family and i will enjoy this dish in peace, if God willing!

    Many thanks sir . I made this today and it came out exactly to the taste. Awesome !! For years I had been searching for this recipe but could never get it. It was so simple to make as well. Can you also please teach how to make Andra Allam chutney. I have checked and tried many - but never close to what is sold in shops.

    Your recipes and Ranveer Brar recipes are always a hit in my home Sir. I have tried several of your recipes and my mom and dad love them. I even dared to make Parotta at home with your recipe and it came out so well! We love that and your salna recipe the most. Andra paruppu Podi I have now ground for the third time! Fast-moving podi in my home (We skipped the garlic and used peppercorn instead). Your kuzhi paniyaram and Urulai varuval is also very nice. Looking forward to making more of your recipes! Summer is approaching so will try your vanilla milk!

    Sir I am watching your chilli parotta recipe from.samayal.samayal. here in Tirunelveli in janakiram hotels in they make chilli parotta differently . It will be of huge pieces in dry gravy . We love that too . Can you say how they make it that style.
