Nice work! I've done the same repairs on my w126 500se this summer, only it needed ~20% of the welding you did. Messy at first, but then quite satisfying process to be honest.
I had a 280E, rusted away before my eyes… for such a well designed car in almost all areas, I believe the body was not well designed having too many rust traps
Cars this age better to get a new fresh paint. The original paint has done its job for decades. Good job 👍
