Definitely had fun hauling this one! Not as much as the 2 from Michigan lol but this one was fun too and my son enjoyed tagging along! Keep em coming and we’ll keep hauling!
Guy's I'm glad ya saved this old K~DUB ! It's nice to see young guy's that have an interest in these good old truck's and I subscribed so i can keep an eye on ya.
Absolutely, if I could I would save them all!! The interior alone on this truck is worth the reason to save this one. No smell of mice or anything like that inside. Thanks for the support!!
Out of all the manufacturers I like the Kenworth K100’s the best but maybe that’s because I worked at a Kenworth dealer for 15 years prior to where I am now. Thanks for the support!!
Yeah we plan to do some spit shining on the old boy and bring him back to life. Still work to be done out there when all these new electric trucks melt down.
You guys need to connect with James Pretty to complete the resto work he has started on. There are some nice units in his Classic fleet. Many are currently for sale.
Right on, he needs a full time employee like I’m blessed to have. Makes all the work more manageable cause it’s a big undertaking doing one of these rigs!!
Yeah I know it, that kind of backfired on us but we were glad that we had it hauled home and they had a winch to load it. Maybe someday we can have a trailer like that.
Where do you find parts for these old cabovers? I recently acquired a 1973 Kenworth K-125 cabover and I'm having difficulty finding parts for it. Especially the interior. For example, the dash is in bad shape and needs to be replaced, but i can't seem the find a place to source a new one. Stumbled upon your channel and seen you restore old cabovers and thought maybe you could give me some insight. Love you collection btw!
Well you made the right choice getting a Kenworth. I’d say they are the easiest at this point for finding parts that are still available or interchangeable. With that being said I previously worked at a Kenworth dealer for 15 years so I use my local Kenworth dealer for a lot of the items I need whether it’s OEM or aftermarket. Also with the old cabovers especially I’d say about 65% of items are still attainable and the other 35% will either need to be fabricated, repaired, or found in a salvage yard from a donor truck. For example one of the cabovers that I have needs new windshield rubber seals and no one the country has any so I’m gonna have to get creative to figure that one out. I don’t know how badly damaged your dash is but if you can’t repair it I would suggest a salvage yard.
Plan on it, the front panels got painted over for some reason so we are going to try and remove that white paint and hopefully expose the stripes that are still underneath.
Glad ya bought it and got it home, that's a really nice old K~DUB guy's !

These seem to have become rather trendy & desirable when in good order.
The interior is what sold me on it, super clean and doesn’t smell at all which is unheard of.
Whut so many cabovers. I mean a beautiful trucks
Thank you, we try to save what we can to keep the history of these trucks alive!
Caged the brake chambers, but the brake shoes said "yeah, you do whatever, but we ain't moving."
Yeah I know it, that kind of backfired on us but we were glad that we had it hauled home and they had a winch to load it. Maybe someday we can have a trailer like that.
