- This is a bit different, but I wanted to give you an update on me. I've had ups, I've had downs, but I will always cherish the memories of the Destiny community and how the game changed my life. I am a lucky guy, and I hope you are all doing well in life.

@@lucasbinder6151 I think you are being a bit harsh, he has gone on record saying the reason he left the game was it changed for him to much and he lost a good amount of interest, he never hid that or kept that a secret, but he has also said that he always loved the game at his core and had a special place in his heart for destiny since D1, saying "he only comes back for greed" is a bit of a stretch. also i respectfully disagree that " his Passion is completely gone" , like i said earlier he always has a special place in his heart for the game that he built his career on.

Somebody is expressing an understanding on a youtubers history and activity with a game, and send a little heartfelt message at the end, simply expressing positivity to a man behind a screen telling his audience how grateful he is for them, to the point of becoming teary eyed.
Simply because the commentor is expressing some brief emotion doesn't make it parasocial because MTashed is expressing emotions towards his audience and viewers too. Parasocial is when the emotions expressed are one sided, which they are not in this situation.

I gotta say youve kept the same upbeat and entertaining videos and your personality hasnt changed since I first saw your videos. glad to hear you are good and keep going and God bless.
I found out about mtashed all the way back in 2015 just before my 13th birthday. Going on 22 this year. Time really flies

Same man. I was 11 when I found his channel now I’m 20 working as a cna in the big boy hospital, while also playing guitar in a shitty indie band. Destiny was a huge part of my childhood and I’m so excited to finish out the story. I’ll probably stop playing the game after that. Unless we get a d3 and it’s good. I already barely play the game I’ve hardly interacted with into the light . I mainly just hop on PvP if I’m bored and nothing else is hittin.
Man it's crazy how much your life changed over the years. Honestly Tashed you made the right decision for you and your family covering Genshin. I've taken jobs for money before to build a nest egg and I'm sure many others have as well. I don't think the majority of people will hold that against you. We'll still welcome you back whenever you come back and pay the D2 community a visit. Cheers dude.

Imma keep it a buck, you don't have to give us any updates if you play destiny, you don't have to let us know if you wanna come back or not, you just got to keep doing what you do and upload whenever and whatever you want about destiny. We know you're a father and you gotta get the bread and keep the family going. The destiny community has always loved when you come back and upload, try not to see destiny as a job and keep it as a lovely hobby. Emotionally you have been a backbone to so many in PVP, as long as you continue being one emotionally then we are happy. And if this sentiment isn't accepted by the rest, then I'll keep this as my own and continue on seeing these small snippets you upload, thanks for everything!
Doing it for money is fine, don't let the weirdos make you think that we don't live in a money world. I don't see the Genshin stuff but it was a great business decision, i hope you keep making great decisions.

I remember submitting some gameplay to the old Crucible School reviews back in middle school. Fast forward ~9 years and I've only got 1 semester left until I graduate university. I go back to Genshin once or twice a year so I've luckily had a steady stream of MTashed content through the years, but I'll always be waiting for the next upload here for a drop of classic MTashed D2 content. You're one of the most genuine content creators around, always willing to speak your mind no matter the consequences (I am staring directly into HoyoVerse's eyes), and I really appreciate that. Keep doing what you're doing, man. Can't wait to see what's next!

You were one of the first destiny TH-camrs I ever watched. The first video I saw from you was your review of the no land beyond back in D1, where you talked about how awful it was and how skilled you had to be to use it effectively in pvp. It inspired me to give it a try and to this day it’s still one of my favorite weapons.
I’ve been subbed to your main channel for years now, and still watched you even when you went to other games like genshin or division. I’ve always appreciated your insight and how entertaining you were. Even more importantly, you seemed like a standup guy, which is pretty rare online nowadays.
Whenever I think back to the good old days of D1 and early D2, your channel always comes to mind. From someone that you’ve made laugh far more than once, thank you for all the content over the years.
Ah man Mtashed, this video really really hit me in the feels started crying watching this man. I'm 21 now a grown adult and i remember little old 15 16 year old me sitting down after school to watch the Rumble King and his crucible school videos just so i could be just like you and would always dream of playing destiny with you. You havent changed abit man your still the same energetic fun guy i remember you so dearly. Words cant describe how happy i am to have watched your videos and grown up with them. As a currently lapsed Destiny player it warms my heart to see you dip back in - you’re the first Destiny streamer I watched and still my favorite. Still watch the video of you bringing down the T-Baggers from time to time…you gotta do that again in final shape, even if it’s right before they turn the lights out! Definitely hope to see you for a bit in final shape.

I remember playing a crucible match some time ago and saw you in it and it gave me a smile knowing that even when not making too many Destiny videos, you still are playing the game. It showed me that you still loved the game, and it is a core part of your life. You were and always will be a core part of the Destiny community.
You are the reason I fell in love with Genshin Impact. I watched some of your guides very early on and thought to myself, "Holy shit, this looks insane!", downloaded it and started playing. It was wild. I still play here & there but moved on 'cos the lack of end game frustrated me too.
Watched some of your older Destiny content since subscribing and man they're so freakin' cool. I am now a huge Destiny 2 fan myself. Got some proper nice gear & cannot wait for The Final Shape. Been doing a ton of grinding in Onslaught with my brother & now I am even thinking about starting my raid career. Some people on Twitter have been super kind and buoyed me up. The D2 community are so bloody awesome man and I am so, so freakin' happy they were able to help get you to where you are now.

I'm going through some growing pains myself and it's inspiring to hear your story and see how your hard work paid off. I hope someday I can look back at this low point of my life and be thankful for all that I've done to get out of it.

I stopped playing Destiny not long after you left to Genshin. I watched all your videos back then, but gotcha games just aren’t my thing. I’m glad you’re doing well and I have fond memories of those peak Destiny years and you are included in that.

I remember watching your destiny 1 videos coming home from school in middle school, and I’m gonna be graduating college soon. It’s crazy how much life has changed, I’ll always remember watching your videos with my friends, especially during forsaken in D2. It’s awesome to see that you’re doing well, it was pretty funny the first time I heard my friends who play Genshin talk about you I was like “you mean Destiny Mtashed????” And then I went to the channel and saw how many views you had and my mind was kinda blown with how much things changed (I completely understand the switch I woulda done it too with those views). I’m usually a lurker, but I just wanted to say how grateful I am to you too for all those memories back in the D1/early D2 days.
