@@FreznyL- Beyond Light was NOT Destiny's darkest time. 😂 Not by a long shot. The playerbase went down WAY further after the Red War, and when Curse of Osiris came out, and wasn't good at all. People gave up, and Bungie lost all of the additional players they had gained from making Destiny 2 in the 1st place. Lightfall was also a dark time as well. People weren't feeling the campaign, and could tell that it was basically just filler or busy work, and an excuse to finally give us the Strand subclass (which was supposed to drop w/Witch Queen), while the company worked on The Final Shape. But even during Lightfall's lackluster year, the numbers still didn't drop as low as they did during Curse of Osiris. During Curse of Osiris, the game was in a terrible state, boring AF, double primaries were forced onto everybody, and both character & weapon modification had been totally stripped. Beyond Light wasn't that bad at all, and had a very popular raid with Deep Stone Crypt. Every long time veteran Destiny player knows this stuff cuz... we were there. lol For ALL of it. The good & the bad both.
Whew, I watched "Raidzone" during that contest, and kept up with all of the biggest teams... and I couldn't believe how long it was taking them on some encounters! Encounter 4 took 8 HOURS to conquer. WTF?! lol The Boss Room was rough too! The raid was insane. Best they've made in a long time. Maybe ever.

I’ve been playing since House of Wolves and finally experiencing the end of this saga and you being able to see this story end is remarkable. Is not everyday that a game is able to finish there main story complete
That trip mine cave encounter is brutal solo legend, arguably the hardest encounter in the campaign if you take the time commitment it takes into consideration

This is the first time I’ve seen the post fight excision scene sign a male guardian. Man they make the female guardian look so flat. The male voice seemed so much more emotional.
I am a critical when it comes to this DLC. Its definitely a top 5, but Forsaken, Taken King, Witch Queen, and Rise of Iron told better stories. That final mission was definitely a top 3 mission.

It was kind of funny tuning into your stream having a great time with the campaign while everyone was struggling with the contest mode raid.

The build crafting potential with prismatic and the raid are some of the most fun I’ve had in this game in years. Truly a wonderful dlc.
