Remington 513T Bolt Action Rifle

The Remington 513T was made from 1940 to 1968. It is a heavy target rifle chambered for 22LR. Many were purchased by the military and used as training rifles during WWII and Korea.

For those that have any of these 500 series rifles, you may not want to cycle the bolt so aggressively because the sear acts as the bolt stop. Too much hard cycling will cause the sear to prematurely wear down and you’ll also develop a “chip” on the underside of the bolt where it makes contact with the sear

@@1957Shep I bought one from Cabela's 3 years ago with the original Redfield sights. I also own a 521T that belonged to my father. They are classic, along with the 510, 511 and 512.

The gun club near here had several of those and Winchester 52s. I shot them a little. Wish I had one. Unfortunately the clubhouse burned to the ground. Ruined all of them plus some M1s
