- This is Part 2 of a two part series on the incredible Daher (formerly Socata) TBM 900 465 nm cross country flight from North Myrtle Beach, SC Grand Strand Airport (KCRE) to Sarasota, Florida (KSRQ) on an early mid-August morning.
This may be my last X-Plane Video for a while with newly released Microsoft MSFS loaded up. Hoping X-Plane can up their game to give MSFS some competition. I worked hard to make the video as realistic as possible with ATC dialogue included. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for tuning in.

Hey, great flight and beautiful landing. Stevo couldn't of done it any better. I'm getting X-Plane along with the TBM 900 in the next 2 weeks. I've been watching all the tutorials I can in anticipation. Have fun in MSFS.

Thank you very much. The TBM is a great pilot’s airplane and reasonably easy to fly. Stevvo is my favorite TH-cam pilot by far. I hope you enjoy the TBM as much as I have. I took my first flight in MSFS today. and it is spectacular. Cheers, Tim

Thank you Dennis! That is about the highest compliment I could ask for!!! I flew my first flight today in MSFS. Of course I had to fly over my house. I flew the Cessna 172 and the TBM 930. Jaw dropping game changer (in four words). I'm going to spend the next couple of weeks getting familiar with the new sim. Stay tuned and cheers, Tim
Hi Tim, Very enjoyable video as we have been fortunate to expect, take your point re add on's to make X plane realistic, really looking fwd to your views on MSFS 2020, I have and still have trouble with MSFS 2020 I pre ordered from MS Store premium delux but still haven't got beyond the " press any key to start" page I am working with MSFS tech support but no fix as yet do you think you could help me? I know a big ask.

Hi Charlie, Thank you for your comments. I downloaded MSFS on Tuesday and just took my first flight today. It flys more like the a real airplane than any other simulator I’ve flown. The scenery is spectacular. I’m sorry you are having trouble getting started. I know that must be frustrating. I have not had enough time to understand everything that makes it tic under the hood. I am sure the tech-support people will help you get things worked out. Kindest regards, Tim

What do you think of the TBM in MSFS?
Hey Frank, I have only flown the TBM 900 in MSFS a couple of times and it was about 5 or 6 weeks ago. My first impression was the MSFS early release version reminded me of a Carenado level aircraft. Pretty to look at but dumbed down avionics. Since then there have been a few updates to MSFS that hopefully will address some of the early shortcomings of the default TBM. I'm planning on jumping back in the MSFS TBM 900 very soon so stay tuned! Cheers, Tim

I'm not sure I understand the context of your question? A T C = Air Traffic Control. 2020 = A rough year.

Thanks Pete a good video I have my watch numerous other videos on TH-cam oh of Microsoft flight simulator there is no comparison but when it comes to IFR x

Nice vid. MSFS20 is a horrible disappointment. XPlane is ten times better, more realistic flight dynamics and physics, and without all the many problems MS20 has. I totally agree that XP NEEDS to get their weather to be much, MUCH better. But the flight dynamics are so good that I can forgive the horrible weather simulation. What I would really love, and your video here truly makes the point well, is for XP to work on a more realistic ATC interaction. If you can put this vid together with a fairly realistic ATC, then SURELY XP can put together an algorithm for ATC interactions. Being able to fly IFR IN THE SIM, WITHOUT outside services like Vatsim and PilotEdge would be the BEST feature they could possible add.
