@HappysAirsoft did you open up the gearbox and counted the teeth? the cylinder dosnt look like a full lenght 2.5
@motanugras6851 I did not however someone else did on TH-cam and I'll link you the video. Also I put a regular cylinder next to mine off camera and this one has a longer cylinder

Go to around 8 minutes to see the internals
@HappysAirsoft Yeah ik, I've watched the hole video. The video you've linked me was the video I was searching, thanks! The sector gear has 19 teeth and the set looks compatible with sr25 style gear sets ( the spur gear is bigger and thicker than normal v2/v3 gears)
@motanugras6851 yeah no problem! It should take SR25 style parts inside. So far this gun has been pretty awesome for me!
Good day sir.. Can you have a review for EC SR25 901? I'm planing to buy and upgrade it nxt year.. i want to make it full upgraded like 600fps with the best inner upgrades and attachments possible... Thanks and more success
@stygiandesolator7424 I probably won't be able to since all the guns I review are my personal ones, or they belong to friends. If I can get my hands on one, I will! I think they share the same internals as the 417 and mine is over 500fps now. I put in a prometheus 6.03 × 509mm tightbore, M140 spring, ASG 22TPA motor, maple leaf 75° bucking, and a Maxx model product hop up unit and that's it! So far it's holding up well. For 600fps, you may need an M150-M170 spring, so that could require more upgrades, such as a new Gearbox shell, stronger gears, and maybe even a stronger piston.
@@HappysAirsoft i appreciate your tips boss
Where can one purchase stateside?
Unfortunately, I don't think any US based store/site carries them yet. I had to get mine from Taiwan gun based in Poland
@@HappysAirsoft how was the process? How long was the wait? I live here in California.
@giuseppeoloresisimo6609 it was pretty easy. It arrived to me in Wisconsin after like 8 days or so. Just make sure in the order comments or special requests, you have them make the gun California compliant. I asked them to do that just to be safe and it arrived exactly the way I requested.
@@HappysAirsoft good to know. Thanks! I subscribed btw :)
@giuseppeoloresisimo6609 I appreciate that! But yeah if you get one, I hope it goes smoothly for you. US customs are so weird about what they do and don't accept
Theas e&c gear boxs are stupid easy to work on but i noticed with some of there gearboxs thay dont have shims :| but thays not hard to shim the gears and the airseal is pretty decent and quick chnage spring is nice and easy to swap id say dump the motor for somehting a little better and be warned some of fheas e&c inner barrels are caked in greese like i mean its realy in there so if you getine take the upper off the lower and run the unjamming rod with skme paler towel and test to see if the inner barrel has grease witch i take it is for storage since the inner barrels are brass but over all there not bad guns and i habe there mk18 mod0 thay also came with deep colt trades and crane marking on the magwell
I already swapped to an ASG 22K motor and I noticed the excess barrel grease as well! I swapped to a prometheus 6.03 tightbore now with a Maple leaf 75° bucking. It's shooting pretty nicely and can hop .40g bbs pretty well! Overall, I really like this gun!
Trades are under the stickers
@@hazard_wookiee7413 I think there's a version with trades and one without. This is the one without
@@HappysAirsoft huh. My E&C 416D had trades under the same stickers but I’m from gelsoft land down under, US/Euro models may be diff, plus it’s a different rifle all together (word is we’re getting these 417’s in gel around January-ish, we’ll see for sure then lol)
@hazard_wookiee7413 yeah after removing the stickers, there's nothing on mine sadly. But that's cool that you're from all the way down there! Gel blasters look cool but not quite as high performance as airsoft in terms of range/accuracy. I wonder how this would be in Gel blaster form...
@@HappysAirsoft that’s pretty much it, just a straight downgrade performance wise. CQB holds up great though, just can’t hit the shots that something like a 417 was meant for lol. Personally I’m keen to travel internationally and give airsoft a proper go one day
@hazard_wookiee7413 yeah from what I've seen in videos, their groupings are all over the place at range. Definitely not good for a Marksman rifle like a 417. And Definitely give that a go! You could even make the short trip up to Japan and play there!
600 is normal here in Philippines
FPS!? 😂
