  • In this video Jim Roese shows how to name channels and outputs on the Midas Heritage-D HD96-24. DISCLAIMER: This video was recorded during the Midas official US launch of the HD96-24 console in September of 2019. The console being shown in the video is one of few pre-production models currently built by Midas at the time of launch.     Can you send an aux to an aux? Is there groups? A group to a group? Ie: snare top and bot to snare group... eventually feeds drum group... feeds band group. ?

    What about the Excel sheet importing? That was advertised too...

      That will be pretty awesome also. There will be a template you can populate then upload it into the console to set many of the parameters. I only had access to the console for one day to myself. This whole video series was made as something impromptu. Music group no longer attends trade shows. The consoles have been making it to some at booths of sales partners, but not by music group as an entity. The availability to see the desk or get hands on is limited currently to the releases they are doing around the world and those partner booths at shows. Once the consoles are more accessible to the public, I'm sure there will be many videos of many more of the features shot as true training or feature videos shot with real HD cameras and proper miking. These were just done to help those unable to attend the limited showings to be able to learn more about the desk. That way when they finally get their hands on it, they have some of the working knowledge.
