How does the CLIMB interact with zwift workouts? Will it remain flat the whole time or is there some way to actually use it? (not counting manually using the remote)

When in workout mode, the climb doesn’t interact with the terrain and will remain flat. See my Climb review here:

What if you just use slope mode during the workouts? Will it respond then? Thanks for the reply!

It will turn into manual mode so it will respond to slope as you change it yourself within the companion app but not the actual terrain.

Thx, but how can I produce power/watts in SIM mode? I always do the workouts with erg mode, but when I just want to bike a route on Watopia I can not go above 100 watts or so, even if I increase cadence and or gears..and I have trainer difficulty on max. Any ideas? It becomes harder on climbs and wattage goes uo, but flat and downhill I dont know how to produce more power? Thanks a lot for your help!

Are you switching gears? Maybe try using the big ring in the front when descending or riding the flats.
