This was definately worth the watch. Short sweet and to the point ... In my first workout today i realized that the warmup of 5mins was really not enough. This can haemful to tue legs and i felt a twitch in the upper quad. Would be nice tk have an option to increase the warmup to around 10 to 20mins at least. Thanx smartbiketrainers
Another fun thing to do that you didn’t mention : in SIM rides (free rides), there are occasional timed sections on the road called segments: sprint segments (short and flat) and KOM segments (uphill and longer). Segment starts have a pulsing laser line across the road and end with an arch. You can try and beat your personal best from the last 30 days, or compete against everyone else who has rode the segment in the past hour. If you get the best time that hour, you get a green jersey 😄. Results are shown onscreen, and also end up as Strava segments.
New to your channel. Watched three videos, subscribed, and liked them all. This one is excellent but the music chunks are very distracting. Thanks for the great content.
Just an update that I decided to upgrade my old trainer to a Wahoo Kickr today. Joined Zwift and first ride done. Definitely an engaging experience and it is easy to do more than you had planned. My 20 year old Cannondale R1000 has a broken shifter so I am fixed gear until I get it replaced. Tks again for the Zwift tips, was a big help for my first ride.
Really enjoying your content, thank you. I apologize if you have clarified this and I missed it, but are you using the 11" IPP or the 13"? After use, do you wish you had gone with the alternative size? I am looking at them now for zwift + multitasking youtube/hulu etc. Thanks!
That’s the 11” iPadPro. I love the 11 from a size perspective but if I want to do it all over, I would go with the MacBook Air with the M1 chip instead of the iPad.
@@SmartBikeTrainers Ok that is interesting, and I am curious why? I am assuming it would be a better fit for creating your videos etc. I have a mbpro 13" but it is the intel so anything like Zwift will get the fans etc. going. I figured if I got the iPad pro it would be more portable with less noise and mess. I was holding out for the new 16" and then I would sell the intel mbp 13" I would use the tablet for biking/couch surfing/reading and the 16" for real work. I have a tablet mount for my handlebars so that keeps my space a little cleaner than ordering one of the laptop stands. I am working from home.. so my office is my workout room and it is getting a little crowded lol. Thanks for the quick reply.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my iPad Pro. But the new Mac Air M1 is almost as expensive and comes with better battery and an actual full keyboard. Plus you can run Zwift in high profile. Also, it feels lighter than the iPad with the Kay board. But if you like to hold the iPad without a keyboard for reading and other things then, yes, the iPad Pro is perfect.

Happy to hear that. Enjoy your new Kickr and hope to see you out there in Watopia 👍🏼
Great info. I'm going to buy a smart trainer very soon and going to try Zwift. Do you know can i use both road and mtb bikes in the Zwift worlds .😀
You can use either bikes as long as it’s compatible with your smart trainer. Zwift even has mtb virtual bikes as well. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Great tips, Im level 12 but still learned alot.
Happy to hear you found this helpful. Thanks for watching!
Almost makes me want to start zwifting.
Worth a second chance
@@SmartBikeTrainers ha, I never gave it a first chance. Not yet
It’s expensive so be sure to use the app often if you get it to get your money worth.
