The Petkosky stone you threw back into the water, what would it have looked like if it had been cut ln the middle, across the width of the stone? That is what I would have done.

Nancy’s is pretty. It looks like pretty sunflower bursts. The color is also different than the common grayish black stones and it’s small enough to do a wire wrap on. ❤ You are a beautiful lady Nancy, Rob is a blessed man. ❤️
I will vote tonight for Nancy Stone. Rob’s yours was nice, but that was a really exceptional stone. Nancy got. And next weekend I will be right there looking on a very first rock hounding trip. Can’t wait great video.

Rob's is an excellent deep rich example of a Petoskey stone. Nancy's is a little more unusual but very striking. I'm a bit torn, but I am siding with Nancy! Decision based in uniqueness.

I have trouble taking them from places like there where tourists come to look for them.
