I bought one about a year ago, I now have 190 hours on it. I am 100% pleased with it. I bought it at Tractor Bobs in OKC also. I have worked it hard digging with the FEL, working a box blade, working a 4 foot brush cutter, and some times I just ride it around look at all my stuff. I traded in a 21 hp grey market tractor, this tractor will do more work than that one. Made In America, Woo Hoo !!!!! the engine on this tractor is simple diesel, not computerized, not complicated. It has a very small turning radius, and it will ( FEL and All) fit through a 4' gate opening. It is my little helper. Help like installing a heavy window unit from the outside by holding the unit up to the window from the outside and sliding it easily into place. Help like lifting logs with a strap so I can chain saw at waist high ease then load the wood in the bucket to transport. Many other things I have done that just made tasks easier.
I have 260 hours on a SA 424 with Backhoe And FEL . IMO the lack of a low range is a major design blunder. Low feels like medium and High is basically useless except for Road travel.. I can bog the machine down to where it want spin the tires or move. Coming from a gear machine this is not acceptable. The Back hoe is strong enough as well as the Loader . The no low range bugs me so much that I am selling soon . Not sure what I will replace it with . But it will have to have 3 ranges .

I never thought of using it for cutting wood, thanks for the idea!
Would love to see the sa221 in action! Been thinking about buying one.
I will see what I can do in a couple weeks!

Make more videos, I’m wanting to buy a yanmar sub compact tractor
Have you found not having low range to be a drawback, or does it have enough oomph to do what you need to do?
What do feel is the best tractor for the buck yanmar or Branson subcompact
