at first I couldn't follow what you said but after I heard the music playing, I understood completely. Always great to have music playing through the whole video to help customers become more informed about the product!
Thanks for the feedback! We try to do mix of videos. Some detailed product overviews and some simply showing the machine in operation. The videos with limited or no speaking actually get better results. Maybe people just don't like to hear me talk!
Good to see someone doing a video on SA221 at work. I bought a slightly use 2015 SA221 with a backhoe and it is amazing the work that this subcompact can do. I looked for a year or more before I found this machine at a great price from Simms Tractor and Implements Company of nearby Sevierville, Tn. My only drawback to the tractor is the ground clearance with the backhoe mounted.
Norman we're happy to hear you're enjoying your tractor. They are quite capable for what they are. We've experienced excellent reliability out of the SA series Yanmar tractors.
For whoever can answer: how capable would this machine be to drive a mower on a pretty steep 3 acres spot of land? No tilling or moving soil, just mowing. Maybe occasionally pulling a water tank - but I'd make sure the tank is almost empty when I get to the steepest parts anyway.
This would start at $18,362 however I think we may have a couple other options for you. Could you please text or call us at 903-270-0877 and we'll get you a quote.
@@prequipmentsales what reasoning did they have to do this? This would be a challenging contender and probably sell way more if it had a two range transmission. I like everything about this but that. Unless you can convince me or explain how it compares to say JD ,Mh or K
@@beunbad certainly a contender based on price, comfort and of course the best warranty in the biz. However the two speed is nice and in some situations a necessity which is why we sell 30-40 Massey Ferguson GC series a year. Now when shopping for a little larger tractor the Yanmar 324/424 is really hard to beat in almost every category. We have multiple videos on both the GC’s and the 324/424 if interested.
Obviously we’re not a Branson dealer so probably biased but the biggest challenge we see toward a Branson would be lack of dealer/manufacturer support. For whatever reason a lot of Branson dealers are temporary it seems or are only focused on selling tractor and not servicing. For instance we recently bought out the remaining Titan inventory from a dealer that closed only a year and a half after opening. The strange thing is they didn’t even have a shop on site. Most manufacturers would not have not allowed them to even be a dealer without one.
@@nathans9151 am I supposed to use both feet to do it brake pedals right above the reverse and forward pedal another thing I don't like about it I got rid of it anyways I bought a Massey great machine
You gave up to soon, diff lock is easily modified, and yanmar sells a kit for left foot actuation....But there are other ways of doing it ,,,, get Creative !!!!. Learn your Tractor this is a little GIANT !!!
I don’t have any experience with the soil types you’re referring to but in general supcompact tractor aren’t the best for serious digging. However adding a tooth bar greatly increases their capability. Thanks for watching!

Please next time do another video with out music. I think people can hear if the machine struggles under load .
interestingly,This was the first and maybe only video I found on this model... Thank you!

It’s not hampered by the single speed transmission? Does the three point hitch have position control?
Looks great wish they had more vids..might buy?
They’re great machines. Simple and easy to drive.
Great video! Might be just what i'm looking for. 👍
Thanks for positive review. Where abouts are you from if you don't mind us asking?

Small...small brushhog
Good demo video .... creepy music
If I needed a tractor for my landscaping company, primarily for rock, mulch and dirt, would you recommend the 223 or 325?
Tough one. However I have a 324 and love it so I’d lean toward the 325 simply for life capacity.
is it always in 4wd?
how much is it for something like this? looking to get a tractor with mid deck and front loader

Do these Yam
mar S221 have a hight and low rang like the Kubota BX24s
The 324 and 424 do not the 221. We do sell the Massey GC series which does as well.

Where is a dealer close to Memphis Tn
I’m not sure on dealers in Tennessee. There is a dealer locator on Yanmar‘s website though.
Don’t appreciate the music like to hear the tractor run and what rpm are you running it at
Who makes Yanmar tractors?
Yanmar. They also make tractors for John Deere.
So what do think about Branson vs yanmar subcompacts, which would you purchase

No low range or diff lock. Not happy with mine at all
that's all in the spec sheet.
Joseph Durocher press the brake down about an inch or 2... that will engage the diff lock.
