As always, beautiful art, interesting class (always learn something new in your videos) and your happy, positive attitude always brightens my day! Thank you Cy!
So glad to see your smiling face this morning the horse looks awesome except as a horse person it looks a little emancipated without the neck. Otherwise it’s a great piece love your color choices Lord bless
Great job Cy. I don't think the neck makes a big difference. To me the head is the main thing.... yea, I know play on words. Anyway it came out great and the variety of wood just made it that much more special. Thanks for sharing my friend!
Cy, I have been using Locktight with blue tape for some time now. I had all kinds of problems with the movable 100 variety so I switched to the 300 variety and no problemo. And for putting the pattern down I use a hard roller I got at Michaels craft store works wonderful w/no sticky fingers. Oh, one last thing I spray the tape not the pattern.
Hi Cy I have been a subscriber of your channel for a long long time. I enjoy your videos. I asked you in the past to do tutorials on doing an Intarsia project from start to finish. You were so kind and did 7 or so step videos thanks. What I need to know is the make of your orange dust mask. I hope I can get it in UK.
Hello, it is called an RZ Mask. I have a link for it in the description box of the video, it should take you right to it. I hope they ship to the UK too!
Hello @Helen Stewart Yes, I have that on Esty, here is a link. I dunno if this is expensive or not ;) www.etsy.com/listing/613284953/intarsiasegmentation-horse?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=cy%26%2339%3Bs+corner&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1
Is it intarsia that you are interested in learning or all around woodworking? For intarsia I read books by Judy Gale Roberts and Kathy Wise, those were great to get me started in intarsia. As for woodworking, there are a ton of folks out there on TH-cam, I have so many favorites it is hard to recommend someone. Email me if you need some more info. undeniablycy@gmail.com
Hi Cy; You might want to try Peel & Stick transfer paper rather than blue painter's tape. I got the idea fro Steve Good. It works very well & does not leave any stickiness on the wood and pulls off the wood real easy. I get it at Walmart for about $6 and it is about 30' of paper . Love your projects. Rod
hi Cy another first class video, on a different tangent have you tried any of alex fox's free patterns he has just uploaded one you might be interested in and also he has some videos on bowls etc there is one pattern that will really test anyone's patience called the solar flare
I just love your intarsia projects and enjoy watching the videos ❤ ❤ ❤ Btw it's karalstudio.com Google finds it but it is not working for some reason :(
I don't know why, it would be awsome to have everything nicely organized not random on fb :( Can't wait to see more projects :) P.S. Not being a jerk but still didn't fix it :) studio, not studios ;)

Looks amazing Cy. I think using the risers has made it even better as it adds that little extra 3D to it.
Well done!

ok thanks for your reply Cy 😉
Looks good.
Thank you :)
Very nice project.
Did you say there were some little gaps. Well the gaps just show it was hand made and add character.
Thank you and I think you are right, they show character and the handmade-ness!!!

Some good ideas here. I must have the 300 variety of Loctite, I will check that. Also a roller is a great idea too!!!

Hi Cy

I checked out the patterns, they are nice!!! Testing patience for sure!
Amazing....
Thanks Robert :)
When you're using spray mount for small pieces use a cocktail stick to hold them down it's much easier that's what I use anywhere 💋💋💋
Great idea!!! Thanks!
Hello Cy! What a Amazing piece! So tell me, which glue do you use to joint the pieces together? It seems to be something like ciano, is it right?
I use DAP glue to glue the small pieces together. :)
turned out really nice and I cant see any gaps from where I am sitting. :-)
Thank you :)
Muy bello cy's
