My mother-in-law and I just love the Illusion Block Quilt. We can't wait to make it. We are in awe of every quilt you make and look forward to every tutorial you do. It makes our day when we get a new one to watch. Thank you so much for taking your time to share with all your viewers easier ways to put a beautiful quilt together!!
You are my star for the time when I have a rest or I am tired or sad. Even though I am from the other side of the ocean, from the Czech Republic I love sewing and especially patchwork for a long time. I found your tutorials about four years ago and since that I have loved them. For me it is a very pleasant way how to improve my listening skills in English and how to improve my sewing skills as well. Sitting with a cup of coffee, listening to one of your brilliant tutorials or looking at your fantastic fabrics in your shop, it is really the best way of spending my free time. I admire you and I thank you.
My DH would be so proud of it. This is a great guy quilt and it's a lot easier than it looks. Thanks for taking the fear out of quilting. Love all your tutorials.
Hi Jenny, you put me into a dilema every friday! Every friday "I say this is it I'll make this one". But this missourri star is a winner! I will deffinetaly make this one! Thank you very much for tour weekly tutorials!
I think this has a really modern look!!!!!! But I think child's would love it too.......that is so clever, and again yet easy to put together, you are by far the best teacher I've ever seen. Thank you so much for all your hard work
I watched this a week ago and then went on a quilt retreat with the supplies and banged out this quilt. It turned out so beautiful. Can not wait to make another.
My first granddaughter is going to college this year! Her style is very modern and I'm making this quilt for her with a layer cake of ocean nation (her favorite colors). I'm a confident beginner and I want her to have a piece of family with her when she goes away in the fall. Love your videos, watch at least a couple every day!!!
How easy is That??? Now I know what to do with all those layer cakes I've been collecting. I be you could make two lap quilts out of one layer cake if you added a border. Thank you, Jenny!!
I'm making this quilt for my son and his wife for their 10th anniversary in November. I'm using the That's A Moire 10" squares by Whistler Studios, and white and silver skinny strips. I have the blocks done and am now to the point of laying out the quilt top. Having a great time.
I love, Love, LOVE this quilt! I bet it would also be gorgeous in shadowed SQUARES too! Can't wait to give this a try! Thanks for all of you clear, concise and easy to follow directions.
I just love you Jen ! You make it seem so EASY ! My second time watching this tutorial. Now to go and pick out my fabrics ! Thank you - God bless you for the JOY you bring to so many !
Beautiful quilt! And a good pattern to adapt for every season. It would also fit into a young couple's modern décor, so this is definitely one I'll also consider making as a gift!
I made this quilt for my granddaughter, she will be getting it for Christmas. I Love it!, Would recommend this pattern to any one, it is so easy to do, and looks great.
My favorite so far! I've watched quite a few of these, made a couple, but this is my favorite because it's so beautiful and so easy to make! Very quick gratification on this one!
Mrs.Jenny I want to let you know do to your videos I have learned so much and enjoy all your demos, you encourage me to want to continue to learn more on quilting, and cant wait to start a new project, like having you at my side cheering me on. Thanks a BIG FAN, Olympia
Olympia Jasper I also feel the same way. I have been quilting for 20 years but took a break for school. Jenny has made quilting fun for me again. Love Jenny.
I mad one of these for my daughter in soft yellow, tans and white an it is one of the favorites. I am thinking of making one with a layer cake of southwest pattern designs but would need to put a wider sashing on the sides to make it a bit larger. You have such neat tutorials. Thanks
Love this quilt. It looks so easy and I am so glad I came across this pattern. I have a 10 layer cake that will be perfect for this. All I need to do is get the gray as I already have the 1 1/2" strips. Thanks Jenny. Love all your tutorials.
This is one of my favorite MSQC tutorials, because it's the perfect pattern to highlight large scale fabrics. My 2016 goal is to make this quilt using Tula Pink's Bumble fabric.
Well, I would love to make the illusion Quilt for myself ......but I can honestly see making at least 2 of these quilts.....Not to mention I am going to order fabric for the Present Quilt. Jenny & family do such a great job....the videos are easy to follow, I wish I had known about MSQC a few years back....I probably would have made more quilts by now. I have made table runners, bags,a baby quilt ( 9 patch ) and now plan on making quilts for myself and my family.
How would I download it for you to see it. I did the huge "star" quilt you had a video on and it's beautiful. You make it so easy for us. Thank you. I've also made a few quilts now using the method of sewing two squares together, marking from corner to corner and during on those lines only on one side. They also are beautiful and easy.
Your talent always amazes me. This is stunning. I love the bright colors. I'm going to have to retire just to catch up on all the projects I want to make. Lol
Love this quilt and the instructor. I am in the process of making one now and I can’t wait to see it done. Thanks for making quilting so easy and fun. Love all your videos.
I simply love this quilt. Jenny have you sewn this illusion quilt using floral fabrics? I wonder if it will be just as stunning as using solid colours.
Fabulous! I wonder, since you are making so many sets of sashing for the left side, would it save cutting and sewing time to cut the gray 9" WOF, then sew a white strip 1.5" WOF to it, and then cut the gray/white set into 1.5" strips...instead of cutting all those white squares ( 84 of them) and sewing onto gray strips individually? And the same for the shorter gray strips and 84 more white squares.
Thank your new block it very good n very nice. Beautiful block was sad not knowing what to do to give me the pleasure enjoyed drawing this will be my next projecto.thank for your kindness to teach
This is awesome! I'm thinking a few of these squares would lend themselves nicely to some fussy cuts! Still working on my Half Square Triangle Around the World quilt, but ALWAYS looking for my next project😊 Love your tutorials, Jenny😘🙋
Wow that's fabulous I love it ....Thank you for making quilting easy, and fun ,. I have a few mates that have started quilting and said if you want to learn how to quilt properly you must watch your videos...

I simply love this quilt. Jenny have you sewn this illusion quilt using floral fabrics? I wonder if it will be just as stunning as using solid colours.
I am making it with "Good Company", which has lots of florals. It's looking like it'll be really pretty.
That is what I did. Works great.
