When rendering, the audio was buggy at times... couldn't figure out the problem... anyways, This video took me forever to finish. I was up til 6 am working on it. Shoutout to all my teammates in the video. It was 3 of the best damn years of my life! Let's go get 50k subs by the end of the year!
@Jeff B you're acting like any schmuck can pick up a camera and get 400k+ subs. Not tryna be toxic but being a successful TH-camr is still a really big deal
Bruh, I think you've achieved 2 already. Your videos do really well. And Yeah man, I can relate to your bus story. Except mine was with a bunch of kids that made fun of me for being an Asian football player lol. I jumped over them for TDs all day during that game.
do you ever come back to this video to see how much youve accomplished? congrats brotha, not for anything specific but just for not giving up and doing exactly what you said you were gonna do. You are a great example of what determination can do for you.
Im a volunteer fan and much as it pains me say this vanderbilt has some pretty huge wins and just to play in sec takes a helluva football team so stop hating
As someone who’s just 2 months into a career as a D1 athlete, I can truly say it is a reality check, and much more work than you’d think. Still a great experience so far
I never really played sports, and I've always wondered what the kids go through emotionally. It's really good to get some insight with you sharing your story. I just hate that things didn't work out for you in football. You're well on your way to becoming a successful TH-camr. Your videos are high-quality and well-researched. You'll have 100k subs before 2017 is over if you remain consistent.
Have you ever listened to athletes like Kemba Walker or Richard Sherman? The hours pile on some quickly with school, and sports, maybe work, and then you try to have a social life. It's crazy. Kemba told the news after March Madness that they would practice so late that when they got out the mess hall on campus was closed, "A lot of hungry nights" at UConn.
People dont understand how hard playing college sports is period! I went to a Division 2 school in Missouri and played football all four years. It was hard work, commitment, dedication and excitement. The traveling, games, apparel, memories, camaraderie of the team and staff, feeling apart of something is something I'll never forget. If I had to do it again I may have gone to another school, but the experiences I would have kept the same!
You could play the "what if game" with college football. But you most likely would've accumulated injuries over time for nothing. I think you made the right choice in doing track. Keep up the great work man!
I had to get shoulder surgery March 25th. I dislocated my shoulder in the beginning of the football season last year and I was almost out the whole season and it popped out like 10 times, now it only has a 3% chance of popping out. Hope all goes well w surgery!

I nearly made it pro in my hometown in 2018 and had an offer to play pro in Bulgaria in 2021 but covid and travel bans as well as the time frame to get a European passport didn't work out. 22 years spent on training everyday for footy, also did some track in junior high and high school, which I was really good at, especially when we took trips in to Minneapolis. When lockdown and covid hit, my friend got me into running 10ks. Hey man, watched your video from beginning to the end. It had to be good to hold my attention that long!!! Excellent job on it guy. It was sad watching about the football injuries. Reminded me of me. Fractures, stingers, spinal injuries, knees. I am 61 years old, i had 18 surgical procedures, and am not finished yet. Joint replacements, spinal fusions, there was and still yet, too many surgery scars. Be kinda relieved you didnt push it with football. Look where it got me my friend. Best of luck and God bless!!
Hey my man, former Idaho track star here! For a while, I wanted to be a football player, but I found out that I was good at track too! I ran against some of the Boise State Football players. I could beat several of them in the 200, but pretty much all of them could beat me in the 100. It's funny to hear you talk about the "big fish, small pond" phenomenon. You’re probably not gonna see this, but I love your story I’ve played on those same Optimist fields aspirations of big things, but I simply didn’t have the size. I didn’t let that get me down though, but at the end of the day, my height did become a factor. My last season of Optimist football I suffered a concussion and sprained neck and I was done. But it was fun to still hang with my teammates one more time as we won the championship that same year
I've watched many of your videos and have enjoyed them but for some reason I've never subscribed, but after seeing your story I have now subscribed. Keep up the good work
I gotta ask how did you get faster, I played football and track my freshman year. I tore my groin then a few weeks after my recovery tore me achilles in practice and after that I stopped and I’m now on my junior year and I’m getting back into it. I’m playing 7on7 and just hitting the gym a lot, I’m not as fast as I was at all like going from running 4.9s and 4.8s to running mid 5s I just can’t seem to get faster. Do you have any tips or something to help me?
I'm 14 right now (freshmen) and pretty inspiring. I played for the Cicero Falcons back from 2009 to 2012 and we went 10 - 0 two seasons (2 playoff games) and 6 - 4 my first season (won superbowl that season). I had 108 rushing touchdowns in those first three, fastest kid in the little league, and I was averaging 182.3 yards per game. Our offense was also amazing. Our wide receivers were actually catching a ball at age 8 believe it or not, and we were scoring 28.9 points per game. I also played on defense where I was safety (easiest position ever). I then went back to Florida (my first years were in New York) and went 0 - 8 one year without scoring a single point because our team was actually 3 years longer than everyone else (I was 9 and so was my team, league average was 12 I think). I then went to Denver, Colorado where I played for the Arapaho Spartans and went 6 - 2 in the regular season and won the playoffs, and we also had the best defense of all time in Denver American Youth League. We let up 54 points in 10 games (5.4 PPG) and our offense was kinda terrible because I just got on the team and I played line when everyone was 30 pounds more than me but I managed to block efficiently. I played end and my spin move was "very deadly" as my coach said. I would leave defenders just standing there. I play football at Grandview Highschool now in Aurora Colorado. My foot got messed up and the season ended (I got one carry for 9 yards). I am doing cross country and weight lifting at home (jogging 3.72 miles a day and benching 135 around 8 - 10 times in a single rep). You are definitely a heavy inspiration along with Jerry Rice.
You are an awesome young man! My 18 yr old son turned me on to your channel and I'm very impressed by your content. Very smart young man you are! Much love from Amarillo, TX!
The horror stories I can tell about U of Mi being a walk-on in the 70s... Yeah, I can completely relate to this guy and major congrats for doing as well as you have.
I never played college ball, but I was OK in high school on a team full of d1 track athletes. In fact, as a junior, we had 6 guys, with a 7th all committed to d1 programs for track or football. I had no plans of playing college football, but got to go to some visits and camps with some of my teammates, and got to meet and take part in some drills with some superstar college and NFL guys. My friend who shall remain nameless, gets into a bragging rights battle over who was the fastest man from PA at this camp. So at the time, this major college program coach came over and had the boys run 40’s side by side and it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever taken part in, being a slow white dude. My friend, who ended up running track at Penn state, ran a 4.31 40 that was verified by said major college coach, and also beat the other guy who also was fast as hell, but not sub 4.4. My friend Andrew was running consistent low 10’s on cinders, if I remember correctly, we ran on cinders until districts and state meets. Our school didn’t have a real track until 10 years after we graduated. The dude could absolutely fly, got to run against Walter dix a couple times(no victories) but unfortunately lost the drive midway thru his scholarship.
With all the research you do for these videos i could see you as a sports analyst or something. Ive been watching a lot of them here recently and you just seem really informational about it all. Good stuff

I was a State Champion Swimmer, and it feels pretty good to have kids look like they’ve already given up. When you walk to the starting block.
I went from 38.99 to 29.98 over the course of one season
@@Ob1tuber Congratulations man! Keep working hard.

This dude is exactly like jimmyhxhroller but for football
I gotta ask how did you get faster, I played football and track my freshman year. I tore my groin then a few weeks after my recovery tore me achilles in practice and after that I stopped and I’m now on my junior year and I’m getting back into it. I’m playing 7on7 and just hitting the gym a lot, I’m not as fast as I was at all like going from running 4.9s and 4.8s to running mid 5s I just can’t seem to get faster.
Do you have any tips or something to help me?
TexasBoy824 Gaming he lost 40 pounds
1:20 I'd be like aren't you a bus driver
This is a great video format. Showing that stuff at the end gets you to watch more videos. You’re on to something man

MONTANA #GOAT#CHEATFREESINCE83#THEGOAT 😂😂😂
God that jaw story ow
2:26 no way I think that’s the school that I go to right now

Track was the right choice for you, with injuries like you have had football would've been rough.
With all the research you do for these videos i could see you as a sports analyst or something. Ive been watching a lot of them here recently and you just seem really informational about it all. Good stuff
KTO do you still go to sac state? I'm attending there next semester for fall 2017
gvastida yeah I am
KTO If I see you around I'll be sure to say what's up
i will probably be in the library editing a video lol
I watched whole thing. don't think back too much high school days, and what could've been. not healthy. don't be someone who peaked in high school. keep your life focused moving forward
Who here in 2019!
#speedkills but damn man you could've been great another bad story of how injuries derailed a dream (not trying to be negative)
