"I wish" is a master class in itself. Interesting that superstition was included seeing that stevie played it himself on moog synth bass and all the other basslines mentioned were played by Nathan Watts on bass guitar! Stevie is a master synth bassist!
You guys should do a video on Jamerson’s endless variations on I Was Made To Love Her. I don’t think the guy repeats one line lol and they’re all so good
I like how he switched jazz basses just for the slightest difference in tone. The 70’s Antigua would’ve been just fine for all the J Bass parts Ian. Attention to detail though, gotta be respected.
All those jams are so fun to play
You are right!! I dont use the word "hate" very often, but you know what I hate so much? Playing a song that is not fun to play.
I miss playing bass. Been on the 6 strings for way too long. I need to go back. It's more my instrument, and it's so much fun to play.

And Bob Babbitt on Signed Sealed Delivered
@@Chris_Davis_music thanks for the reminder and correction. I forgot!
Bob Babbitt played bass on signed, sealed, delivered.
What about Master Blaster?
Holy crap ian that antigua jazz is beautiful
I've been a Rythmn guitar player for around 20 yrs..but the older I get the more and more I like the bass
I heard Stevie Wonder for the first time as a child riding in the back of a 1978 Chevy Malibu station wagon, hearing this takes me right back
The unison part in Sir Duke is one of the most fun things to play!
Im learning each of these one by one thanks to you guys inspiring me!
Plus: Higher Ground, live. Plus Happy Birthday. Plus... Nathan is a master.
Love Nathan's basslines, they fit well and sound amazing!
I love the bassline of Master blaster..it's just beatifull
Ian and Pino and Tony and Guy: pure joy, pure feel. Thank you sir x
I always thought "Isn't She Lovely" had an extremely underrated bass riff
Always loved Stevie's bass lines. So much fun to play
Dont forget For Once in My Life and James Jamerson's mastery of that Bass
Cant forget Master Blaster, its hard to pick just 5 amazing basslines from Stevie's music though :)

Hey.. Can you guys make a video about japanese bass style. They used a pick and play with slide a lot. 😊😊😊
You guys should do a video on Jamerson’s endless variations on I Was Made To Love Her. I don’t think the guy repeats one line lol and they’re all so good
Master blaster needs to be in there!
Killer bass line for sure! 🙌🏻🧡🔥
Love Sir Duke. Trying to learn it but my fingers don’t move that fast

Bad boy👍
I'm still learning the basics, if I play and learn these solos, will I get better at playing?
was waiting for that do i do
Do I do dig it!
Boogie on reggae woman!
🧡🧡🧡
Some of these bass lines were played on a synth, despite that I think most of Stevie Wonder’s bass lines are really cool. 😀👍
Please give me bass guitar lessons!!
Missing Master Blaster unison
Where is Higher ground!!!!
I could not call myself a true lover of bass if I didn’t know any of these 😂
Nathan right?
all of them except for signed sealed delivered
@@felentelechy and "Superstition" was Stevie himself on a Moog(?) synth bass.
❤️
Master blaster ???
❤❤
Let's be honest, if we had the time we'd learn his whole discography
I totally agree
Part time lover!
🔥🔥🔥
Oh burn - 2 that didn’t make it: Master Blaster (Jammin’) and Superstition… but how?!?! ❤
I reckon he could’ve took out sign sealed delivered n put Higher Ground n Master Blaster should also be n there
SOO many great bass lines! 🔥
You forgot “For once in my life” iconic bass line
Killer line for sure! 💯
How is For Once In My Life not knew them? 😮
I like how he switched jazz basses just for the slightest difference in tone. The 70’s Antigua would’ve been just fine for all the J Bass parts Ian. Attention to detail though, gotta be respected.
a top 5 without 'i was made to love her' bassline???!!!!!
TELL ME WHY U US DIFFERENT BASS GUITAR ON DIFFERENT SONGS?? ❤
Master Blaster?
Missed “Master Blaster”.
No Boogie on Reggae Woman? Yes, the bass is a synth bass, it could work with an electric bass.
Nah. Boogie On Reggae Woman. Period.
👏🏻
For once in my life is *the* baseline to learn
Sir Duke is GOATd
good stuff, but way too many shorts from your channel. I get way too many notifications. about to cut it off.
I'm not that fond of outrageously self-adoring narcissists. But I really do like your bass playing.
The Lexicon Of STANK!!!!!!!😖😖😖
P Bass sound ❤
Too High
Completely ignores all the Jameson bass lines..... Dude.... For Once in my Life....???? WTF?? 😂
Dork
So unoriginal!
