As a radio DJ with 25 years of experience playing any music genre under the sun, I can safely say that he is a songwriting giant. I am very picky in my selections, but I managed to archive 237 of his songs. His melodic and harmonic inventiveness is awe-inspiring, and his use of modulation is the best in the business.
I was captivated the very first time I heard Stevie Wonder's voice at seven years old and now 43 years later I'm still in love with it.

I once tried singing one of his songs during karaoke night and failed miserably. I thought I'd be alright because there weren't any super high notes, but his delivery is what makes his songs. His tone, his riffs, seamless key changes, and his intuitive musicality that I definitely didn't have. Many people can sing a song, but only masters can create magic.

James Corden is such a humble, cool, and down-to-earth. He geeked out when Stevie sang to his wife. It brought him to tears. I think I cried with him a lil bit. I absolutely love Carpool Karaoke and how it spotlights the realness of the Superstars we know and love.
What a treat! His music is timeless and I just learned he is quite the comedian. He's funny.

pat c Did you know he wasn't born blind? A mistake at the hospital days after he was born caused it. For that he should've already been rich but possibly his blindness enhanced his skills/talents & he's phenomenal!

actually Stevie was born six weeks premature and had underdeveloped blood vessels in the back of his eyes caused his retinas to detach. The oxygen pumped into his incubator exacerbated the condition, leaving the tiny baby permanently blind.
A voice like no other. I met him twice at a booth I was working in LA NAMM Show. The electricity around him was incredible and the 8ft 7 bodyguards made sure no one did anything silly.

I don't think it is financial protection. But SW was scheduled to undergo a kidney transplant in July 2019. If it went through, then we should hope and pray that he stays well.
