  • Seventeen years after delivering sexual harassment testimony against Clarence Thomas during his Supreme Court Senate confirmation hearings, Brandeis professor Anita Hill has pledged to read each of the approximate 25,000 letters she received in the wake of the hearings. Supportive and non-supportive, coming from men and women both young and old, the letters reveal a diverse segment of the American population that was impacted by her stand.

Wow. I'm glad to hear from Anita Hill on this. I felt like I suffered along with her all those years ago when she had to discuss this very sensitive issue in front of all those men and in front of the nation. I can't imagine anyone doing that because they wanted to. I'm voting my beliefs. Thank you Anita Hill.

@danieleriskay "It's a horrible embarrassment to this country to find that wretched, lying, perjurer is able to even find employment in this country"
I agree. And the fact that the wretched, lying, perjurer has a lifetime job on the highest court in the land -- with a salary and retirement paid for by my tax dollars -- is the ultimate embarrassment for America and Americans.
Obviously those sitting on the Supreme Court need not be moral examples, just good manipulators.

Did she receive any letters or photographs from Long Dong Silver. Or did she in fact send any letters to Long Dong Silver.

Anita Hill literally turns my stomach. As an educated black man living in America one of the biggest threats is a so called educated black woman might possibly turn on you. I believe there may have been some truth to Clarence Thomas making some comments, however its hard to believe that Anita Hill was that affected by them. To pretend like she felt so violated is just sickening. The whole episode back then was silly and just plain unnecessary.
